Oh I've turned daytime running lamps off completely in the settings. I'm talking about the actual headlight switch for the actual lights as in driving at night. It starts on auto by default, I'd prefer if it started in off as I like to manually switch on my lights myself.
Some retailers already have this kit listed but would say "out of stock" but really just means not in stock yet. But the thing is, one has a price for it at $999... And the Pioneer unit they recommend for it is like $750. I really hope some of the other 6.8" Pioneer units would also work, there...
Funny, when I first saw this thread, my first concern was that I'll lose my little cubby. That's where my little Elephant mirror ornament sits now because the hanging part of it broke, lol. So I guess with the replacement unit my elephant still has a place. 😂
But seriously, I'm so waiting for...
For real, it takes seconds to remove the front wheel. Heck, if I'm just bringing my one bike, I just remove the front wheel, that way I can turn the handle bars sideways and I can fit the entire bike in the bed even with my tonneau cover on, lol. If I'm bringing 2, then I'll use the hitch bike...
Oh nice, I don't have a welder but can probably use a drill press to drill some holes through some steel to attach them together using small bolts and nuts... Will look for the delta thru-axle parts though... Thanks.
Because his method is better? lol
Most decent brand bikes, like his Specialized, it takes literally 15 seconds to remove the front wheel and same to put them back on. So it's not a big deal at all.
It might just depend on where you are, because lately I've been seeing more and more Mavericks. And they sell out of the new models within weeks of taking orders for them, so they're not under-performing...
The auto start/stop. That annoying feature where when you stop at a stoplight it shuts off your engine, then starts it again when you release the brake pedal, wearing down your starter at a much higher rate than normal...
Yah, not a fan of the $99 OBD II thing. I'd rather it just be changed in the car's settings. If not, then I'll just continue to press the button everytime I get in my car...
:(
But more important to me would be to be able to set it so that the vehicle starts with the headlights selection at "Off" by default instead of "Auto" and also with the auto start/stop at off as well. Hoping these things can be changed using this and that someone discovers how to do that, lol.
Heck, I wonder if it would be possible to do the opposite when it comes to the flasher blinks thing. I would like to change it from 3 to 1, don't really like anything "automatic." If I change my mind about switching lanes at the last minute (which happens sometimes) I actually don't want it to...
Wasn't giving you an attitude, just figured there must be something wrong with the way I was describing it so figured pictures would work better. And no, there's no settings to change it, which is why I'm asking if there's a way to change it with forscan...
And yes, I know most people just put...
No man, the dial to turn on and off your headlights... Look, I'll include photos, this thing, to the left of your steering wheel, this is the setting it's on when you start the car, notice the little amber light next to the setting that means "Auto"
I want it to start at the "O" that means...
