  1. CARBONIZED GRAY Maverick Photos Thread

Haha, nice! I would keep an eye on craigslist for people selling off stock rims because they want to put aftermarket rims on theirs. You might get lucky and find rims from a higher trim Maverick on there cheap. I've seen someone else on these forums who found Bronco Sport rims on craigslist that...
  2. Just took delivery yesterday. First impressions!

Thanks! Although I'm not much of a modding person unless it's under the hood. The most I might change to the outside is I might crack open the headlights to paint the separating sections of the light to a black color and then reseal it so that it looks better with the dark gray body color. I'm...

Thanks! Oooh, excited for you! You're going to love it!
  4. When did you order yours?

Whoops, yep I missed that part, mine is the Ecoboost.

I just took delivery of mine yesterday!
  6. Just took delivery yesterday. First impressions!

Would love to have smoked out lights, would look great with the carbonized gray color.
  7. When did you order yours?

Ordered 12/27/2021 In Driveway 03/30/2022 Mine came quick... Edit: Whoops! Mine is an Ecoboost, not a hybrid, missed that word in the original post, haha. Sorry.
  8. Just took delivery yesterday. First impressions!

Alright, happy to say I just got my Maverick yesterday. Carbonized Grey, XLT trim, 20L Ecoboost. Here are a few quick first impressions: Likes: -Feels very "light." I owned a F-150 Lariat years ago and I have to say that the Maverick, despite having a truck bed, feels more like my Ford Edge I...
  9. Maverick with chase bed rack / pipe rails and running boards [more photos added]

Looks nice, but personally not a fan of anything that covers any part of the side, making it more difficult to load things over the side of the bed. It's why I always thought the Avalanche and old Ridgelines were not anything I'll be interested in. But anyway, just personal preference, everyone...
  10. 2.0L Maverick 0-60 in 5.5 seconds and 39 MPG?

Pretty sure 99% of that would be due to the tune and not the physical mods. It probably won't be very reliable running that way though, just my guess. There's a reason why they are tuned the way they are from factory.
  11. Buschur's production 3" cat back exhaust for 2.0 Maverick! [Updated with videos / sound clips]

Yah, what I've found with most of these newer cars is that they are computer limited to perform the way they intended them to from factory. Probably get better performance gains through a tune than anything physical like the aftermarket exhausts. But of course that would mean worse gas mileage...
  12. Lasfit Switchback Turn Signal + Cargo Light & 3rd Brake Light

Does anyone know if they will release L-series lights for their rear brake light/turn signal lights? I kind of feel like these T-series lights are way too bright. I've seen a video of a comparison and the L series are already much brighter than the regular bulbs, I don't need them to blind the...
  13. Carbonized Gray vs Iconic Silver

The lady at Ford's chat told me mine should be delivered tomorrow, so maybe by this coming week the dealer would be ready to release it to me. Ordered this same color, man it looks good, I can't wait. The black wheels made the choice for me too to go with the Carbonized Grey. Almost like a...
  14. I love a Mav in Uniform.

People always like to compare things between different countries as if things are equal. Top speed really isn't much of a consideration, there's a lot of things that go into selection of police vehicles in the USA that other countries might not prioritize. And FYI, it's not THAT easy to get a...
  15. I love a Mav in Uniform.

That's cool for security, but Park Rangers need to have the Ford Ranger. It's a rule, lol.
  16. How many Mavericks have you seen?

I've only seen 2, I'm kind of excited to be driving something fairly unique around here until the inventory catches up and I'll be just one in a crowd again, lol.
  17. Set Auto Start Stop to remember last mode?

I doubt it'll void your warranty. It just plugs in, and if you want to remove it you just unplug it. So I say just unplug it before you bring it into service with a dealership.
