Yep, I just used the ZEP purple degreaser from Home Depot. It only took a minute or two and the chrome came right off. I got a water tight plastic bin that's just big enough for the inner frame to fit into, then I just poured the degreaser right in, put the frame inside and tilted the bin...

For those of you who might want to try this, a few things because I just did it with mine. I had my oven at 240 degrees instead of 280, and it worked, but not sure how it compared with his experience, but it was a little bit of a pain to get it open and I had them in the oven longer, about 20-30...

Not a fan of that front end. And I couldn't care less how big the touchscreen is, I barely ever even use it. Also, I see AC controls on the screen, so that's a no from me, I'll keep my knobs and buttons for AC controls, thanks.

Sorry, I didn't ask the parts guy for the part number. But he did tell me that they are like $1500+ each... So I searched on ebay for XLT tremor lights, and I kept finding ones for the left side, but never one for the right side. I ended up buying one for the left side for like $500-$600. And...

Ah, sorry, I didn't notice this comment before, I just took apart my headlights to do the modification, and yes, there are electronics inside of the headlight and wiring harnesses...

Yep, was able to find it fine this time, thanks! When I get the second tremor headlight, I might order a set of these too, they look pretty good!

Am I blind? The link for the fog lamp kit doesn't seem to take me to any kind of kit for the Maverick and I can't seem to find it even using the vehicle finder...

The daytime running lights can be turned off from the vehicles normal settings, I did that the day I got the truck, lol.

Awesome, I was searching all around and reading reviews and couldn't really find any good ones that are OE style, amazon has a lot of cheapy brands that don't seem to last. I just ordered a set of these in black.
