I dealt with this issue on my '22 and went through 3 batteries. I traded it for what I paid after taking delivery of a '24 Lariat Hybrid. I assumed they had addressed the battery saver issue but alas my assumptions were wrong. This one is actually worse. Several weeks at the dealership and no...
It's the neverending story Deb. I went through 3 batteries under warranty with my '22 XLT. Then this past March I traded it for a '24 Lariat in part to get away from that issue. And guess what? This time it's worse with continuous battery saver mode and a no start like you. I jumped it with my...
I feel your pain. I had the battery replaced three times on my '22 XLT. It didn't make a difference. So I traded it for a '24 Lariat. So far it has spent a total of two weeks in the bay for the battery saver issue including a new battery. Still no resolution in sight, only lip service and the...
Just don't do it!
I drove my Mustang for over 10 years without a front plate in Ohio before they finally changed that law here. My 5.0 screams pull me over but I never had a problem.
I believe that is what's known as "blueing". It is a chemical reaction on the aluminium surface created by excessive heat, which is usually normal. My question would be why is your hybrid muffler getting that hot? Hmm, probably nothing to be concerned about.
Leave it to a HAM, well done. I hope it works better than the factory charging pad in my Lariat. That thing was more effective as a hot plate. I chose to use fuse position 18 to power my dash cam instead. I'll never miss the pad.
Obviously made in China. All of the misspellings are a dead giveaway. Speaking of dead, one of the reviews stated DOA. And the price is a little suspicious as well. I'm not trying to be critical, just really skeptical for these reasons.
I am on the verge of springing for an AGM. The deep sleep...
That all sounds about right. Except when it happened to me after jumping it actually drove fine with all of the warning lights and indicators going off. The dealership reset it and dropped in a new battery.
Meanwhile back at the Ford ranch, my 24 Lariat is taking up space somewhere in the service bay for the second time in a month for this same issue. The first time was a full week with nothing to show for it except "your battery is good". Now we're on day 4 of the second half of the pocket pool...
Unfortunately you are likely in for a frustratingly protracted process that will lead to a whole bunch of lip service, testing and no satisfying resolution. However, IF your factory battery does test bad and they replace it, the deep sleep issue or battery saver mode MIGHT disappear. At least...
All I can say is good luck Edward. I've been dealing with this very problem for about three months now in my 24 Hybrid. A new OEM battery installation followed by a full week in the service department and nothing has changed. Battery saver mode every single day with voltage readings around 11.6...
