I fully appreciate and understand the frustration that many customers are experiencing, believe me! I waited 9 months and 6 days before finally taking delivery a few days ago of my XLT hybrid LUX with CP360. And I wouldn't have ever changed a thing. It has been totally worth it but I have also...
Taken directly from the owner's manual: "FUEL QUALITY SELECTING THE CORRECT FUEL E161513 Your vehicle operates on regular unleaded gasoline with a minimum pump (R+M)/2 octane rating of 87." However it does go on to say: "For best overall vehicle and engine performance, premium fuel with an...
Whoops, my mistake. I was of course referring to the 2.0 ecoboost in the post, not the 2.5. Just had to post something about something as my hybrid has reached "paired" status on the rail. That should mean "dispatched" is only a few days to a week away followed by you got it......delivered! It's...
While much of it's cool factor is subjective, I agree with most of that. However I take exception to the comment about the 2.5's comparison to a Mustang GT of 20 years ago regarding 0-60. Let's go further back when I was driving my two-tone "88 5.0 with a 5-speed manual and limited slip...
We're all taking the same chance on purchasing a new production model (something I used to swear I would never do). But here we are, all caving to the temptation of an actual four-door pickup with a good bit of utility that also manages 40 plus mpg (hybrid of course). The good news is the hybrid...
I never mentioned anything about a "4K package". That comes with the 2.0 Eco we all know that. The FWD hybrid model comes standard with a hitch receiver and a 4-pin connector capable of towing 2K. That is what the memo refers to as I interpret.
I'll wait for Ford to verify the tow package option delete on the hybrid. If true I'm going to have to file that under deal-breaker and move on. But in reading the initial memo release, it has the faint odor of fake news. It's the perfect sabotage. Why, with 100,000 plus orders would Ford shoot...
Hello from Akron. No that's all I got. Your info is more specific with a build schedule and it sounds fairly consistent with what I'm being told here in Trumbull County. Let's go with November. Thanks Brian.
My local dealer in Ohio just communicated the estimated delivery for my preorder is "around November". My guess is that Happy Thanksgiving will probably turn into Merry Christmas but who knows?
