Any way to adjust the speedometer when you drop tire size? Maybe at dealership? I bought 17's (truck came with 18) snow tires... Tire shop said difference between the 2 would be only .25 mph at 65. NADA... Much greater. at 70 we are talking 2 mph, at 75 3. Really creates havoc when...
No fob necessary. Happens all the time regardless of the fob being in my pocket. 2020 Escape--- same thing... Drove me nuts at 1st on the Escape, don't even notice it much any more... though others complain. hahaha
Snowtires are a must when your a snowmobiler and up in northern Maine and eastern Canada much of the winter. I backed right out of this mess, though did shovel about 3 feet behind each tire to make sure I could get started. lol
That is what the tire dealer was suppose to have done. 65 vs his quoted 64.75 was as close as they said they could get, but that is not what I am seeing vs WAZE.
My 24 Mav Lariat, AWD, with tow came with 18", my snow rims are 17. When I bought the snow's for the 17 rims the tire dealer said that if my speedometer read 65, I would actually be going 64.75. Thought close enough... However, using WAZE, at 75 on the speedometer, WAZE says 72/73... That's...
Had the double gasket issue on my snowmobile a few years ago... Got about an 1/8 mile from the hotel after arriving and blew oil all over the trail and the entire engine compartment. UGH !!
Had the Ford card and had used at my Ford dealer here in Webster MA, but when they discontinued the points, closed it and went back to my 2% cash back Capital One card.
my late 24 has had no issues either (though did get the low battery twice after working on the car and having the doors open much of the time). Left it last winter in Jackman Maine for a week to come back with it buried. No issues, even started it with the remote. lol
on my 24 have notice that it is a little bit lazy at going to highbeam automatically when I 1st start up my car. Usually get about a mile before they start working. Crest of the hill too as someone else noted.
Totally agree with you. However, the powers that be here in MA often allow breakdown lane use for driving during rush hour until they finally widen the highway. In some cases that has been 10 - 20 years. hahahaha
A woman that worked for me at had her broken down car smashed in the rear and...
I too am at 1 year (well, in a couple days). I too have had no issues and have around 16,500 miles on the truck and still love it.. Though I wish the Lariat had a few of the items that they left off, that I had on my Escape Titanium. lol
I tow a 90" wide, 90" high, 13' hybrid snowmobile trailer. I want to see what/who (maybe a cop) is behind me. I currently have a wireless (camera to screen) backup camera that is hard wired to the trailers electrical system. Just have to keep lights on in my truck to power the camera that...
Here in central MA many stations do not have 89, only 87 and 91, occasionally you can find a station with 93. BJ's gas, where I buy most of the time included. So... I use 87 basically whenever I am not towing. When towing my snowmobile trailer from here to northern ME or Canada, I usually...
Have had something similar happen to me (total loss of power) and it is scary as hell. Live appx 50 miles from Boston and was leaving work next to I 95 in rush hour traffic and had just gotten into the left lane when it happened to me. Like you... was able to get into the breakdown lane...
