Ford is working as fast as they can to get a fix figured out, tested, approved by the proper Government agency. Cuz they're losing money if they can't sell vehicles. LOTS.
I guess I should have also said, the safety factor is why it's illegal in many places to have Christmas lights on cars.
1- Attracts drunk drivers to slam into you (like they do police cars).
2- Distracts other drivers- makes it harder to distinguish brake lights, turn signals, and traffic...
I check Wal-mart every time I'm there, got 1 or two there. Grocery stores seem to not get raided by the ebay flippers as often, I've bought a couple there. And One at Aldi. :)
Reports that the Maverick windshields are THINNER than many inthe past, you're risking cracking it.
Best thing to do is start vehicle with heater on (so hybrid ICE starts if applicable) then scrape the ice off, then drive gentle to warm vehicle up.
Nah, USA here for some reason I get it sometimes when the Android Auto doesn't connect right away. It's really random though, no idea why it doesn't warn every time.
Got my hybrid in April 2023, it has sent us a couple deep sleep notifications. But there is no rhyme or reason to them- we had been driving it the same before and after the notifications. Haven't replaced the battery and haven't had a notification in 6+ months.
I would have made sure the dealer checked all the right boxes to get the stuff we wanted on our ordered '22 that didn't get rolled over to our built '23- hitch, and full CP360.
I believe OP states the boots were replaced but MEANS the entire axle were replaced. I don't think dealers just replace the rubber boots. Faster (less mechanic time) to replace the axle.
The security controls to block out Forscan would be incredibly expensive for Ford to design and dealers to have access to. I don't think it will happen.
I wouldn't run Forscan on the same computer I was logging into any bank or other sensitive accounts...
Just make sure you set a calendar reminder to remove any block. We were driving our old station wagon with camp trailer through Yellowstone when it caught on fire (late 80s) and the car broke down shortly after we were out into safety. Dad had forgotten to remove the cardboard from the radiator...
