My only experience at the dealer (Maverick last year) leads me to believe that the upfront dealers are ok with email but many of them seem to want to do in-person or phone only, less evidence they have to deal with in case of disagreement.
A hybrid is a hybrid, the Mav is very similar to the Escape which has been sold for a long time.
That's crazy the dealer won't do what's needed to get techs who know what they're doing.
If you still have thumping noises, take it to dealer. We had a weird rattle, they put some wireless microphones under there and drove it around.
Turns out front right strut was defective. Replaced for free, they even picked it up and dropped it off at home.
No, they weren't LED.
If the new LED bulbs don't match factory spec, the computer might think the bulb is burnt out and not even send electricity to it. Might also get dash warnings.
No need to justify whatsoever. Higher trims are always less "value" because you get the same motor/ transmission/ fenders/ truckbed/ interior carpet... But who cares?
If I didn't have my '23 Hybrid Lariat FWD and if I could justify the "need" I would SUPER WANT the Lariat Hybrid AWD Maverick...
I'll have to look at my truck this evening.
Remember that the bed of the Maverick is PART OF THE FRAME, so any mods need to be made wisely. You can find the owner manual online, it talks about securing loads so as to not damage the frame.
Lariat still comes with bed floor tiedowns towards...
Not quite correct. There are two pieces required for Ford Wi-Fi to work.
The 3g/4g/whatever cellphone connection between truck and network WAS installed on all Mavericks. The extra piece that rebroadcasts that connection as WiFi to the people in the truck was NOT installed on most Mavericks...
