Some states the lemon law applies if the dealer can't fix the same problem after a couple visits. May apply to the "no interior lights" issue, or others.
A vehicle that has massive problems, or problems that can't get fixed, is a "lemon". Many states have different laws about a dealer having to buy back a problem vehicle.
But then they probably resell it somewhere else...
False.
Backup cameras have reduced fatalities by quite a lot. When I was a kid a guy a few houses down ran over his own kid, killing them. Would not have happened with backup camera.
???? Not sure what you meant with the last sentence. Backup camera has been mandatory on ALL new cars sold in USA for at least 4-5 years. ALL Mavericks have them. The difference is Lariat has a 'nicer' infotainment computer than the XL/XLT.
Could be 1989-1991. (Halfway?) through 1991 they introduced the "Plus" trim which was all body color (no black door handles, stripe on bumpers, etc...) and those particular wheels, which bled over to the gen2 body style. The plus also had a small spoiler on the trunk.
And my Plus (I bought in...
That was me. The argument was that the backup camera makes the car buyer pay more money.
So do seatbelts and brake lights.
They are all mandatory safety features which have been proven to reduce DEATHS.
Backup cameras reduced FATALITIES by 31% before they were even mandatory. Kids are all over our country and don't always pay attention. There was a kid my age got run over by his own dad (DIED) in my neighborhood.
My favorite is turning it on and driving all electric for a bit then switching screen to current trip and when the ICE kicks in, it goes from "all electric" to 999.9 mpg then starts falling like a rock LOL
If you lock the Lariat with the door open and use remote, leave key in then close door, it honks twice and unlocks. If you leave key in center console and use the button on door interior, I think it also honks then unlocks.
If you leave the key inside and use the exterior keypad, it locks...
Yeah, should be able to center the wheels, pull the wheel off and put it back on centered. BTW the ford account sends that same "we care about you" but seems they don't accomplish much
To me, ideal would be a wireless charging pad behind that stand. Passenger especially could just set phone there if they're not using it. There was a wireless charger available for the flat spot on the left of it.
KINDA, the laws about safety and emissions are crazy strict. No way dealers or manufacturers can argue them.
RECALLS mean that the manufacturer would get in trouble if they didn't fix them. BIG fines. That's why they spend the money to mail stuff out and make sure dealers always fix them if a...
