2018 F150 5.0 on 24’s , great truck just didn’t tow stuff , A plus with the Maverick is it fit’s in the garage better.

8’s have a different sound then 10’s or bigger it’s more punchy then deep bass. Really good for rock music. The depth of the box was my issue for choosing subs , a bigger 8 takes up more internal space inside the box , I have 2 Sundown SD-3 10’s laying around and they would have worked also...

The Skar SK 1500.1 is runs about 1700watts , looked at a lot of different 8’s and wanted to run 4 of them. I’m a big Alpine fan for mids didn’t think about them for subs to expensive and would sound the same. I’m not a big mainstream subs guy like JL, Kicker, Alpine you can get so much better...

depending on what sub it is it might rub but you need to make sure that sub can work in a small sealed box . Most Sundown subs need a lot of air space. Ive built a lot of boxes for Sundown subs.

You can squeeze 2 10’s but they have to be shallow subs that work in a small sealed box , Sundown SD 10’s will work. Skar VD 10’s will work too. I’ve ran both these subs in the past and both are good sealed in a small box. If your used to 12’s , 8’s are gonna sound a lot different more punchy...

Sounds good there is a gap between the base and the seat do to those rubber stops , I did order grills for the subs also . Will post pics when they come in.

Got Raptor lights to install but first were these , I recommend them , there daytime lights that turn amber when signals are on.
