I'm looking to do option B but need a fuse with constant power to enable parking mode in a dashcam. I also plan on mounting behind the rear view mirror so this video is really helpful as it's halfway to what i'm looking to do.
kind of related but does anyone know if the 2 accessory diy circuits in the bed are switched or always hot? I searched but couldn't really find an answer.
Question- does it have a bottle opener on both sides of the tailgate and/or can you install the tailgate damper on the right side? I'm assuming you can't because of the mounting bracket.
Sadly the closest Menards to SoCal is in Wyoming. Hopefully someone gets a group buy going as I'm sure many people would be interested in buying a piece.
Eventually all manufacturers will figure out that transparent pricing and purchasing direct from manufacturers is where it's at. I guess it's difficult for them to calculate the lost sales from these practices. Checked out a Santa Cruz when it first came out- markup. My Wife is trying to...
I wonder how both LED strips are connected together? It looks like maybe each has it's own switch. I would ideally like to use only one circuit and switch to run both strips- just not sure how to get the wire from one side of the bed to the other.
Thanks for posting this OP. I was looking for the same info. Even though I don't have a build date I can mentally prepare myself for 6 weeks ± 2 weeks based on the responses on here.
I was there as well. Good to see people from this forum out there. Thanks to Mike from Ford for bringing the truck out. He unfortunately declined our request to do donuts in the street when he left, haha. I wanted to check out the dog window and although it's small it's perfect for my medium...

It's great business- although Ford may dominate the full size category the tacoma is more than double what the ranger sells in the mid size group. Seeing how this is a new (well revitalized) compact truck market it would make sense to grow top line and gain market share before other players...
I think they are probably taking lower margins in order to win people over who normally wouldn't buy a truck and grow market share in this space. Maybe they're banking on their next vehicle after the Mav being a Ford as well.
just called the 800# since i didn't receive an email. they confirmed my order is in the system and according to the rep i get my vin in 2 weeks and production starts up in September. as much as i would want that to be true i feel like it was read off a script.
Giving my 07' Toyota Yaris hatch to my niece. I treat that car like a truck. I'm barely starting to break in the engine at 350,000 miles. Runs like a champ and perfect to learn on. Plus learning the soon to be lost art of a manual 5 speed is a bonus.
