  1. Vehicle Lockout

You may be correct. I don’t know about key programming on a 25 but it was very easy on my 24. I do not have push button start either.
  2. Vehicle Lockout

Yes. But you can program it yourself. Very, very easy
  3. Vehicle Lockout

Get yourself one of these and a good hide a key box box with magnets. Mine works perfectly. https://a.co/d/26ZGAph
  4. Vehicle Lockout

I’m in the “You must have hit the manual lock” camp, and have been for a while. I still think that in the majority of cases that is what happens, but one day last week I was standing next to my truck in the driveway and I heard the all too familiar sound of the doors locking. My key fob was in...
  5. Battery Tender connection point for 2025 ecoboost model

It should because you are really maintaining the charge. The Technician in the video was using a high amp charger because his battery was severely discharged. I posted the video because placement of the negative charging clamp is important. I would follow the instructions given by the tech and...

  7. Rattles, Knocks, Vibrations, and other annoyances

Is it just me? Or has anyone else noticed the lack of what seemed to be daily postings about dash rattles and other noises for several weeks now? Now that most of the country is experiencing lower ambient temperatures, the noises, and consequently the posts on this forum, have ridden off into...
  8. Pro tip: easy way to check fluid levels under the hood (using only a sharpie)

I challenge anyone to try to read the MIN line on a 2024 ECO coolant reservoir. It is completely blocked by an AC line.
  9. 2022–2024 Ford Maverick 12" or 8" Sync 4 Touchscreen Upgrade w/ Wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto (Pre-Orders Open)

Nice looking product and the install looks really easy. However, it seems that it will be prone to inflicting great pain to my wallet
  10. Front end and steering wheel vibration

It's time to replace your rotors and pads.
  11. Gear Dial Annoyance

You are correct, but if Ford insists on keeping it as a default function, having the button on the dial itself would be much more convenient. Before turning the dial to D or R, press the button and you are good to go. I constantly forget to hit the button on the console.
  12. Gear Dial Annoyance

I’ve said this before but I would love the shifter if Ford put the Auto Stop Start cancellation button in place of the L on the top.
  13. I’ve consulted the AGM voltage/state of charge charts.

I’m keeping an eye on mine. It is at 12.3 right now. I’ve never connected it to a charger yet but I do have a Battery Tender Jr that puts out 1 amp. I’m going to connect it for a few days and see what it trickles up to. I’m sorry to hear about your battery though. I guess ECO’s aren’t immune...
  14. Battery desulphation needed? Frequency?

The PulseTech PowerPulse gets some pretty good reviews. It attaches to the battery permanently and will control sulfation without a charger. My concern is will it act like a parasitic drain when the engine is not running. Amazon.com: Pulsetech PowerPulse Battery Maintenance System : Automotive
  15. I’ve consulted the AGM voltage/state of charge charts.

My 2024 ECO Boost with a factory AGM is usually at 12.3 to 12.4 after sitting undriven for a day. I have never received a Battery Saver Alert of any kind fortunately. I have researched the AGM SOC Charts and my voltage level concerns me that a slow sulphuration of the plates may be occurring...
  16. New-ish AGM battery, State Of Charge down after a week of driving.

So my 2024 ECO with an OEM AGM battery is always sitting around 12.35 volts when not driven for a day. I have never received any battery saver alerts and have never had a problem starting. However, it is my understanding that even an AGM can begin sulfating at 80% charge, and going by a SOC...
