There seems to be a problem between the FordPass app and the website to share information, and frankly neither are all that accurate. My app shows no active recalls yet I still need to get the towing recall taken care of. It is still open on the website. Neither the app or the website show I had...
I bought Carbonized Gray touch up pen from the dealer. It is a Ford product. It is a terrible match. Too light/silver looking. The reason I think it doesn’t match very well is because the original paint is metallic and very hard to get touch up perfect.
From previous posts here it has been determined that the spot welds are holding and working as they should. The problem is the thin metal of the door is weak and it fails at the welds. Complete door replacement is the best fix, but if just replacing with another weak thin door, the problem will...
Thanks for all of the instructions and I intend to follow to a Tee when I get to 30,000. I am curious though why the technician in the video did not check the fill level by pulling the plug and letting the excess run out until it trickles. He seemed pretty thorough otherwise.
Interesting that he just poured the fluid into the transmission without bothering to check the fill level like most technicians do. I've been told you can't over fill a transmission but I believe you can. I will choose to remove the plug and make sure the level is right. I did not know about the...
Every once in a while I have to unplug the wireless dongle to get it to reboot but not 25% of the time. Oddly enough it does it most of the time when leaving my local Lowe’s parking lot. That leaves me to believe there is some cellular disfunction somewhere. Maybe it’s the dongle. I’ve tried...
I had problems with my phone connecting to the infotainment system via Bluetooth before the Wireless CarPlay dongle could connect. Screwed up some connections. So I deleted (unpaired)my phone from the truck so the dongle connects to be able to use CarPlay for navigation, music and whatever. I...

l have these kick pads and they are great. I also put those silicone/rubber covers on the seat belt buckle that has made a huge improvement. The buckle has a tendency to scratch the pillars if you let it retract too quickly.
I like the way it looks. It’s a nice contrast, I can’t imagine putting another piece of black plastic on my vehicle. With the sun here in Arizona I don’t think it will hold up well. And yes, I do apply protectorate pretty regularly. But if you like it go for it.
If you are a contractor and have a need for this extra storage space I think they are a great idea and they look to be of good quality and well designed. But you might as well go ahead and remove the back seat entirely and utilize all of that space because no one will be able to sit back there...
Surely Mabett or another accessories company could design a sleeve or some type of slip over cover for those who want to change the color of their handles. Silicon perhaps?
I’m guessing the OP wants to cover or wrap the blue or orange part of the handle. It looks to me that these skins only cover the outside and won’t cover the orange or blue parts.
I could never get it to work the way I wanted it to. I'm in AZ. So for most of the year the manual setting is as cold as possible and position 7 on the fan. Also, when I did try to use an AUTO setting like it should to get the temp to a comfortable 72 degrees, my wife would be impatient and...
I know I'm going to improvise because the gap between the back tail gate and the bed frame is too wide and it won't seal. The other problem is most directions and videos for these seal kits have you sticking the weather strip on the painted metal on the two sides and the bottom of the bed frame...
