I like a basic ratcheting cargo bar. Combined with some collapsible storage crates, it handles loose items and can be quickly reconfigured on the fly to stow bigger stuff.
I like white letters on some stuff, sporty trucks being one of them. Chance you have a pic of the whole side of the truck with them on? My truck is white and it might sway my decision.
I've never been afraid of reaching at least speed limit speeds with any vehicle during break in, but not pushing it much more than that.
Otherwise I try to vary engine RPMs (avoid steady state engine speeds for long periods) and also limit my RPMs to about 4000, both for about the first 1000...
Thanks, I'm always interested in others' oil analyses. So that oil had 5000 miles on it?
The drop in viscosity is normal over time. All oils will meet the initial published spec, but will break down from use. It's not so much getting diluted by a contaminate, the properties of the oil and it's...
Lots of oil analysis data indicates there is much higher wear to the engine for the first multiple hundreds of miles. The oil from your first engine oil change will contain multiple times the typical amount of metal, compared to future changes.
This is from the engine breaking in, ideally done...
It looks like you're in the EZ interface of the module. I think you have to be in the regular interface of the module to save it. You should see 2 interface selections to enter each module. The other interface you need to save it will just display all of the hexadecimal data, and won't have...
I was just now years old when I even realized what a Maverick was. Guess I was thinking of the "unorthodox person" definition this whole time. Honestly wasn't even aware of the "unbranded calf" definition.
And I feel even dumber now that there are horns in the darn MTC logo.
Regardless, I...
I guess this means they worked out the payment issues they were having? I went to buy the paid version after my demo ran out, and they said they couldn't accept payment at the time...something with PayPal and Russia maybe.
But they were cool and let me grab another temporary license so I could...
I don't think you can increase the duration of warm up time. Can remote start twice and each one can go 15 minutes.
I hit first it when I think I'm leaving in 10 minutes. If I get hung up I just hit it the 2nd time when I'm finally heading out the door, since the the engine is already warmed up...
Might be time for me to get a controller that will execute the brake service/maintenance mode. My Subaru needs it as well, I didn't want to invest $300-400 on an OBD tool, so I bought all the rotors/pads myself. Did the front brakes myself, and then handed the rear parts to a friendly shop and...
I'd have to assume Ford will be offering some sort of discount to the dealers on the 2024 XL/XLT, once they can sell them. I wouldn't settle for anything but a moderate discount, and I wouldn't agree to any prices until they're ready to sell. The concern would be that even though it's a brand...
It could be that it comes back out of auto when you turn the key, to the last settings you had when driving. Could test this by not using the front windshield vent/defrost when you shut down next time. Then remote start and see if it's blowing at the windshield before you turn the key.
Did the same exact thing. Had been good about it up till then, but that particular morning I was leaving really early. Was pitch black dark, and we didn't get the ice like we were supposed to, so nothing to clear. So jumped right in, forgot they were up, and couldn't see them in front of me...
This is the 2nd time I've heard of this scenario. The other person has made a couple payments. They actually made him bring his truck back a couple days after he took delivery. They gave him a Ranger loaner that he's been driving for over a couple months now.
What are we looking at here? Mostly battery discharge while parked and then a few short trips that show the charge rate peaks? Not like I've monitored any of this on my own before, but I guess I'm surprised of the rate of discharge.
