There's a long thread from January when I did the install. The springs are H&R 28633-1 for an Escape. I think Tirerack.com has the best price. Search "escape springs" several others have installed too. I have a property in the Santa Monica mountains (reason for my screen name) I don't know if the escape springs will get you all the way to your other ride but It will definitely make it better than stock. The Steeda rear Escape sway bar will also help.I will be lowering mine I just took delivery on sat. I live in mountains (Santa Cruz Mountains) and drive CA 9 each day, which consists of over 500 turns/Corners. My other car is a Abarth 500

Guess I'll be seeing you around then. I wish I could say I live there (that would be the dream) but I bike and surf in Santa Cruz every week.I will be lowering mine I just took delivery on sat. HAHAHA!! Got to do some flying over your beach tooGet off my beach. Lol
How do you like those window vent shades mounted down that low?Overall I like the look on the truck, they fill the groves on the fender Nicely as it seemed like it belonged there.
install was a pain in the butt, it required additional set of hands to apply pressure to get the holes to line up. Ive heard someone drilled bigger holes but this wasn’t needed. Additionally the plastic clips were even harder to press in with the flare on top. Needless to say it was worth it since there’s no drilling into the fender.
here are some pictures *disclaimer I actually don’t have FX4 (it’s a hybrid).
It’s okay, doesn’t bother me. It’s the ones from ford accessories site by Lund? Really cheaply made, waiting for some weathertechs to come out but it does it’s job for nowHow do you like those window vent shades mounted down that low?
