Continuing with my Mav mods, tackling 1 of the 3 that I'm still considering...
1. Roof / Bed Rack Tent (2 man).
2. Cargo Basket or Storage Tray
3. Awning or Canopy

Today I decided to address #3 and I've turned to simpler & lighter! Total cost $83 for 3 items: Threaded Ring Eye Bolts, Lightweight Camping Tarp (10x15ft), Telescoping Lightweight Tent Poles. Quick and easy to put up & small / lightweight to pack away. This solution provides multiple options for setup due to the 10x15ft dimensions.

It was rubbing on the unibody seam where they spot welded it together but I bent it over with a 8lb sledge and now there's slight rubbing on the felt liners at full turn but nothing you can't get away with. Nothing like beating on a truck with a sledge hammer that I've owned for less than a month with only 800 miles on it. I work at a ford dealership and had it up on the rack after hours Friday night beating on it and techs were walking by saying that's some redneck s*** and I live in West Virginia. It's only a temporary fix to a permanent problem, I'm going to have someone more skilled than me cut the seam off and weld it back together flush in the near future for a neater more professional finish.

Hopefully we will have total production numbers for how many FE's were built and broke down by color would be nice!

I just got a Yakima fixed rail roof rack installed.
Its removable (less than a minute) !!

I looked a lot into the roof rack issue. The problem with the Thule and Yakima option offered by Ford are "clamp on" option, which might scratch your paint above the doors. This Ford option goes between 700 and 900 $. For 643 $ you can buy the Yakima system with fixed rails at Amazon, but you will have to ad the installation cost of the rails, if you do not dare to do it yourself (you have to drill holes into your roof). In my case, I let the dealer do this installation, however there are videos on Youtube how to do it yourself. Once you have it installed, its a no brainer, rock solid, and removable (only the rails and the base blocks stays on the roof).
If you want a premium solution for your roof rack needs, this seem to be the way to go.

Drove to Daytona from Virginia, average gas mileage 22.7 at average speed of 80. I thought it could have been better.

I think this years BAP would look great on our FE's. If my hood graphics ever go bad, Im doing the hood scoop like yours
