13 pages with most saying their Maverick is not on the list. I am not saying if mine is or not on the list. I want to keep you in suspense. :ROFLMAO:
This will be the longest MTC thread in history if everyone who did NOT get recalled checks in to assure us all.

Or Bob glitching.
Bob was fired a long time ago when he unwittily drilled cleanout holes from the spray in bedliner. My bet is it's Al who bleeped this one up....

I don't understand how some can keep letting them off the hook so easily. 1 recall every 4 days in 2026. It is better than 2025s one every 2.4 days.

This is more of a reason why I'm glad I got rid of mine. I knew there was a problem with mine since I kept hearing a clunk in the driver front suspension every time I made a turn at low speeds or pulled into the driveway. This has to be correlated. I brought it in to the dealer and, of course, they couldn't replicate it. It made me concerned long-term what would happen since there was a clunk that shouldn't have been there.

Nooooo! We can't go on without knowing! 🤪

For something like this I wouldn't usually post when not affected but I wanted to ask about the gap in the rubber since it was in the same place as what is affected by the recall. I know I should just accept that because it's a Ford there will be many gaps in places that aren't necessarily an issue (until they are).

Except that's literally the condition that Ford's documentation says may have been the case and to inspect for.

And Ford was logging torque of the installed pinch bolt, but installing the balljoint partially in the fashion described doesn't prevent torquing adequately.

The vehicles identified for inspect after that June 2025 date seem to be any that were flagged during production for a potential issue with the assembly, whether it was corrected or not, as one of the vehicles that exhibited a failure had been marked for repair (on August 28, 2025) but was shipped anyways.
Definitely a problem in that photo. Looks like some one beat the heck out of that lower control arm with a hammer. Don't drive . lol

Neither if mine are affected, 22 and 23 hybrids.
Less than 5,000 vehicles out of these doesn’t seem like a real big number. Unless of course I suddenly couldn’t steer….

That isn't a tie rod end, that's the lower ball joint, holding the bottom of the spindle. If it comes out:

Press Release:

Ford Issues Do-Not-Drive Advisory for Certain 2021-2026 Bronco Sport and Maverick Vehicles; Owners Urged to Contact Dealerships Immediately

June 1, 2026

Ford Motor Company is advising owners of approximately 4,653 Bronco Sport and Maverick vehicles from the 2021 to 2026 model years in the United States and Federal Territories to stop driving their vehicles immediately. This "Do Not Drive" advisory is due to a potential suspension assembly concern.

Ford is working closely with dealers to provide customers with complimentary towing of their vehicles for inspection and repair as needed. Customers will also be provided the option to have their vehicle inspected by dealership personnel at the customer’s location via mobile service where applicable.

On affected vehicles, the front lower control arm ball joints of the vehicle’s suspension system may not have been assembled correctly. If a joint fails while the vehicle is moving, the driver could lose steering control increasing the risk of a crash. Dealers will visually inspect the front lower control arm ball joint assembly on both the left and right sides, and repair, as necessary at no cost to the customer.

Customers can determine if their vehicle is included in this recall (26S36) by entering their 17-digit vehicle identification number (VIN) at www.ford.com/support/recalls. Owners may also contact Ford’s Customer Service Center at 1-833-807-3673 for assistance in arranging a tow and repair.
Whew. My '26 VIN does not show the recall.
If there was an issue you would know. They look like they're on top of this one...
Don't assume that they are on top of it. 5/28/2026 I was driving my new Maverick 2025 Hybrid FWD with only 2800 miles, at 75 miles an hour uphill on I-17 outside Phoenix. I started to experience an obvious vibration which suddenly turned into an ear-piercing grinding and screeching noise, all power stopped and my steering jerked me violently to the right. Thank goodness I had a tight grip, or I would have wound up into the guardrail or worse.
I had it towed to Phoenix and a week later it was "repaired". Maverick had suffered a catastrophic failure of the axle...ball joint assembly. I was told that the axel exploded. Checked today and my Maverick is NOT on the recall notice. At this time, I am deciding what I am going to do. I refuse to drive this Maverick and will work with the dealership for options. I am devastated. I loved my Maverick.

I dodged a bullet. Vin# was ok.

Obviously with your experience and understandable lack of confidence in the truck at this point, I'd say Let Her Go! Your concience going forward is going to keep you second guessing and miserable imo. Good Luck in whatever you are comfortable with
