2022 Hybrid XLT, bought used in June 2022 with 4k miles.
Just rolled past 65k yesterday. Original 12v battery, tires replaced at 43k. Had the axle shafts done at 35k, local Ford dealer got me a loaner for two weeks while they waited for parts.
Lifetime avg is 46.8 mpg, I calculate it every fillup.
I like the case, good planning there!
I sleep in the back of mine, when shopping it was important to me that I could fit (with tailgate open) along with my 78" long backpacking pad.
I had a Ranger for 21 years and don't like or need the giant full-size trucks of today. The Maverick does exactly what I need and probably of what 95% of full-size buyers need. It's nice to be able to reach into the bed and also the bed is long enough for me to lie in for my stealth camping trips.
Where is this USB-C plug in the back seat? I have a 22 XLT and only have one of those on the dash. (Wife's Mav has the 400W power and hers has a plug back there.) Does it stick out in back?
My 2022 Hybrid has been at the dealer for 2-plus weeks waiting for both axles to arrive. Fortunately I got a loaner, 2024 Edge fully loaded. The 27mpg in this thing is killing me....
I wonder if a deflector just above the windshield would help with mpg. Thinking of the rack on top of the old Nissan Xterra where it was solid in front.
As the title says - wife lost her key somewhere between here and the neighbor's house across the street. Now she's worried that someone will pick it up and have a key to her beloved Baby Cactus (23 XLT). Is there a way to turn off that key (or key fob) and then get replacements?
That's really low. I have a 22 and average about 43mpg - I always fill up and log the mileage and fuel used rather than rely on the dash estimate. My wife has a 23 and gets about 38mpg, she's a leadfoot.
