Just got my 2025 Lariat AWD hybrid today. Shadow black + Moonroof + 4k tow.
LOVE the front end, can’t over emphasize how much better it looks in person. I was definitely on the fence about the look when I ordered it but it’s a huge improvement in person. Really made the cheap plastic “silver bar” look bad in comparison. I really like the new Ford logo and trim being dark and no chrome. Fits the look of the Maverick really well.
Seeing in person the interior had me most concerned initially. The Smoked Truffle really makes the Navy stand out as Navy vs my 2024 Lariat especially in the dash trim. The more I drove in it though I liked it more.
Hybrid AWD was great and I’m sure I’ll get to use it over the next few days with inbound weather. Tech enhancements are also huge improvements.
So far I’m thrilled I upgraded.

I didn’t test it much, but I pretty much assumed it was the same B&O audio set up as last year. Did something change between the 2024 B&O and the 2025 B&O?
yep, the dsp/amplifier is different. who knows if the entire system is new tbh. the one behind the seat is diff from previous years if you ever happen to have your rear seat back forward, if you could snap a photo of the part number on the amp id be curious to see it.

old is silver
new is white

I traded in my 2021 Bronco sport base model at exactly 48 months with 57,000 almost flawless miles. (The rear diff was locked in and gave poor mpg's until it failed at 28,000 miles, replaced under warranty). The Mavericks were not out yet. Got my 2021 BS in December of 2020 and enjoyed celebrity status for about a month as I had the first one in the county.
I've got 154 miles on my 2024 Mavrick 2.0l AWD Lariat. And am glad I got the 2024 model in Hot Pepper red. I do not have or need the 4k tow package, Nor do I have or want the sun roof.
I'm already getting the same mileage with this larger engine and Its's not broken in yet, My avg is 26 mpg's, I'm In the Appalachian Mountains and Love this little truck. I did not want the 2025 as I like the look of my 24 front end better and did not want the complexity of the hybrid.
After watching this review I'm good. I like my dash better and also did not want a larger Info screen.
I'm old school, I'd prefer it not have that screen on the dash.
If It was up to me I'd remove about 75% of the toys and be happy.
Mine handles great and has ample power.
I'd keep the Intelligent AWD and toss most everything else, maybe keep the tow haul mode.
Later taters.

It's hard to tell from the stock pictures. Are the seat colors for 2025 Lariat that much different than the 2024? I have a 2023 with the BAP because I didn't like the seat colors. It looks more muted now.

Very different. Prior Mavericks had a brown that definitely could look orange. I didn’t mind it but I could see some being put off by the potential to look orange. Now it is more of a medium tan. It’s definitely darker than the sandstone in my wife’s expedition.

If I had to change one thing on the interior (besides going to black or grey instead of Navy) it would probably be the smoked truffle plastic on the dash. It’s just a bit too contrasting (and makes everything look more Navy) although I don’t mind it on the door.
