Can you adjust it without rolling it back or is the adjustment mechanism positioned such that you can't really get to it without uncovering it?

how well does it work with a hard tri-fold tonneau cover. I’ve thought about spending some reward points on one to mainly help keep groceries from rolling about, but didn’t know if it was adjustable without having to completely fold the cover.

For me, it’s because there were dead hookers in the trunk. That and hybrid AWD, not 10 year old tech (Sync 3), bigger screen. But mainly because of the no dead hookers.
