Happy holidays fellow Maverick fans. Here is a new video review of the 2025 Maverick by Ben Hardy. Ben does some decent reviews, and I thought you would like to see this cheers.!

🤓 It would be nice to see a pocket on the back of the driver seat also.

I wished that the review was on a Lariat trim model.

I think I like the painted door handles better, but certainly not a deal breaker.

I wonder if that's a trim level thing, or if they deleted it on all '25's? My '24 has one on the drivers seat back.

I like the new dash, as long as it's configurable with a tach, atlest on the 2.0L. Big digital speedo numbers are (y) for me.

A bit of a hard video to watch because this is a refresh year and the poster didn't really educate himself on the trim levels of the outgoing models at all. (He thought the XL interior was all new)...

That’s Ben Hardy for you. Lots of misinformation in all of his reviews. He touched on little that was actually new beyond the front fascia.

And because it was a special order for another customer he wasn’t even allowed to leave the parking lot.

Can’t wait for journalist reviews to come in.

Soooo many videos like this for all manufacturers. Crazy how many people make livings reviewing vehicles and never bother to learn anything about them. Makes me contemplate a side gig purely for dissemenating accurate information.

I don’t think he should have even been allowed to drive it since was someone else’s vehicle. Kinda annoys me

I wouldn’t buy it if I knew Ben Hardy drove it. For both my Bronco and Maverick my dealer didn’t even start PDI until I came and looked at them.

Ben Hardy is pretty awful though. He isn’t an enthusiast, he isn’t a journalist, he doesn’t have media access to events like the Maverick reveal - he hounds dealers in Utah to test drive vehicles he googles 3 minutes before starting his videos.

The video and audio quality suck and he is anything but informed on the vehicles he drives.

He is the poorest of Topher or Tedward and I can’t believe he has gotten as popular as he has.

I hope he is right about Toyota. Waiting anxiously for a competitive offering but until then I will continue putting the miles on my 24 hybrid.

The larger displays are nice, but I miss the older style HVAC controls. The MSRP >$30K for a base XL was interesting...

It is. '22-'24 XLT only has the passenger seat back pocket.

How come people don’t like the new HVAC controls?
