Great review.

Nice touch on the built Ford tough startup logos.

Hope it's just a video of a video, but did I see some backup camera lag around the 7.40 Mark ?
it’s a freakin terrible review. Did we watch the same video???

Yeah, I learned more from this guy who is just showing BAP on his Eruption Green XLT, and by that, I mean what my Mav will look like.

That's why I was asking. Hope there is no lag, just from the video during reversing and having image of the screen there seemed to be two or three jumps ?

I had no idea they MOVED the climate controls. That SUCKS. I hate push button climate controls on a screen .I drive a subura sometimes for work which has that. It sucks BIG time,. Why oh why do they always make it worse. First the ugly front end NOW this. . Glad I have a 2023 . Hope by the time I need to replace it someone else makes a small hybrid truck.

I'd never heard of him or come across his videos before. I'm pretty selective and don't have enough time to watch stuff I actually do see value in like TFL and TestDriven TV, so I will definitely skip Ben's "content".
Check out driving sports tv. He has his own off-road test track.

I think he is still a bit biased but a must watch for me anytime I’m interested in a new model.

definitely something to watch for all those FX4 fanboys thinking they can do the same as a tremor.

Everyone here acting like they got their 3 dial HVAC memorized by detents and not taking their eyes off the road πŸ’€πŸ’€πŸ’€
Don't you?
A half decent HVAC set up is really not that hard to figure out; one knob makes whir whirr whirrrrr, one makes whooshy in different places and one makes firey air or freezy air.

I agree . knobs are the way to go. I makes no sense with the heater controls. I looked at a Ranger Lariat with the huge screen and it still has knobs for heater controls at bottom PLUS on the screen too. I can control heater never taking my eyes off the road on my 23 Mav. . Cant with ANY screen control type. I bet no one can without looking. With all the distractions drivers have do we NEED any more. NO. .

I see 2 solutions...set the climate controls on auto or use voice commands. With mechanical knobs, I still need to look at them when I make adjustments. For me, mechanical knobs are not safer...you mileage may vary...

I thought that people holding and using their phone was one of the biggest reason for rear end collisions.

I am looking to using my voice for HVAC controls. This should be safer than using physical controls, at least for me it will be...
this are ppl that havent pirchased a new car in 10 years..my TRX that is 3 times more expensive than this doesnt have physical knobs either. Just ignore them...if the knobs were there theyd find another petty thing to complain about..no knobs is the norm for any new vechicle regardless of the brand
