wont lie, your review and seeing amp change, I decided to take back my kicker under seat sub for now, til I hear the truck itself. It may be good enough for me, may not. Can re evaluate when time comes. Glad to hear a positive about the new system being noticeable diff than old and not in a bad way

Agreed! Every time I see a pic of the EG in real-life (not rendered) I really love the look of it.

Partially why I opted for Desert Sand on my order. I didn't think the EG + Blue interior would look well together.

I still really like the EG exterior color though!

Compare the price.
Is it worth it?
It doesn't do any good to compare one thing to another without considering the price.

You just need to be able to compartmentalize the interior/exterior lol. But seriously though…I have no idea why Ford was just like “this is what you get no matter what color you pick”.

Yeah I guess you could compare those two, not much price difference. My 24 XL was $24,800 - I thought you might be comparing it with something like that. That wouldn't work.

Picked up my AWD hybrid Lariat today! A (very) quick list of some likes and dislikes:

LIKES

• Eruption Green looks AMAZING in person, especially in the sun. So glad I picked that color.
• The new interior colors are so much better than the old ones.
• Backup camera is way more clear than previous one. 360 camera is pretty cool as well.
• Everything just feels more…solid. Feels like the build quality is just better.
• The B&O sound system sounds better than the previous one.
• The ride feels higher than before. It feels like you’re sitting higher
• There’s Nav now?! Somehow I missed that was a thing.
• I actually dig the new front end. Looks good.
• Goodyear Wranglers from the factory. That’s def an upgrade.
• But maybe my favorite? It no longer does the stupid double-honk of the horn when you leave it running and take the key with you!

DISLIKES

• Loss of HVAC physical knobs.
• The interior/exterior colors definitely do not jive.

So far, I’m a big BIG fan

To be fair, it was Henry Ford that said customers can have any color they want, as long as its black.

Did your Lariat have the pro trailer assist items ? Wondering if you had to pay extra if you had them or a refund if you did not get them.

The trailer assist package will be installed with job 2 orders. Job 2 orders are schedule to start production on February 3rd this year.

I agree that is what we was told on job 2 for pro trailer. My Lariat was shipped 12-29-24 and has the protrailer. They must have started before job 2. My inquiry relates to that Ford added $300 th my MSRP base price along with the $100 price increase we knew about. If protrailer was part of package 501 in August (order time) we should not have to pay extra today and you should get a refund if your truck did not get it. I'm just trying to figure out the $300 price increase.

When you actually see your Maverick in person, please verify if the pro trailer package was installed. This would be a big shock if indeed it was installed.

But yes used Nav on the drive to San Diego tonight lol.
-How about this — does your Ambient lighting extend to the phone charger area? (That *was* a thing maybe for ‘23s but not in my 24 Lariat.)
