Congratulations on your new Maverick hope you can ignore the color clash and enjoy the truck. It's kind of a perfect world. The outside you can enjoy and appreciate the eruption green. Once inside the cab you get to enjoy different colors, blue, black grey combination. In away your not going to be bored at having the same old thing. Well anyway, I hope so. Best of luck with your new truck.

Honestly, that’s legit how I look at it. Surprisingly, it doesn’t bother me.

Man, it really pops in the sun! Just like my Hot Pepper Red. I have this same spec coming in the next week or so. I may or may not get it. Depends on the numbers. If so, fantastic! If not, oh well. I do like what the new Sync 4 screen has to offer. One good example is the better camera. The previous one sucked. This new one looks incredible! Not to mention the incredible fuel economy, even with AWD.

Also, regarding my decision, I still want to make sure I like the new front fascia since I haven't seen one yet. I'm still not sure on the boomerang headlights and bumper piece cutting into it. Maybe it'll look better in person. But I can safely say I love the way Eruption Green looks in the sun like that. I know it looks good on the Bronco and Bronco Sport but going by this, it looks especially good on the Maverick. Congrats and be sure to keep us posted.

I got mine the day after Christmas, same as yours except I order the BAP, I really love it. I totally agree with everything you said and add one more thing, I got the hard roll up cover and it doesn't say FORD when you roll it up like my other one did:(

Picked up my AWD hybrid Lariat today! A (very) quick list of some likes and dislikes:

LIKES
  • Eruption Green looks AMAZING in person, especially in the sun. So glad I picked that color.
  • The new interior colors are so much better than the old ones.
  • Backup camera is way more clear than previous one. 360 camera is pretty cool as well.
  • Everything just feels more…solid. Feels like the build quality is just better.
  • The B&O sound system sounds better than the previous one.
  • The ride feels higher than before. It feels like you’re sitting higher
  • There’s Nav now?! Somehow I missed that was a thing.
  • I actually dig the new front end. Looks good.
  • Goodyear Wranglers from the factory. That’s def an upgrade.
  • But maybe my favorite? It no longer does the stupid double-honk of the horn when you leave it running and take the key with you! 🙏🏼

DISLIKES
  • Loss of HVAC physical knobs.
  • The interior/exterior colors definitely do not jive.

So far, I’m a big BIG fan 😁
What specifically about the build quality and b&o sound is better?

Build quality probably feels tighter since it's a new car. Let it break in and loosen up a bit and it will be same as the good ol maverick.

Congratulations!! Looks fantastic! Wonder if the Audio improved on the XLT as well.
The rear speakers by the head are now slightly turned in towards the head instead of just flush with the truck like they were before

Congrats! Looks great! I'm picking up my XLT in Eruption Green tomorrow morning. Not thrilled with the interior color, but will live with it. I'm used to a lack of physical knobs as I have a 2015 Lincoln MKZ without knobs.

def appears entirely new.- can you elaborate how the audio sounds diff? More bass? Louder, cleaner etc?
22-24 amp and 25 amp.

gotta say the 25 new model looks weird. I think older unit looks nicer. But purely aesthetics opinion

appears to be a diff shape, old one is square and such, the new one has a slimmer and a hump edge and looks like someone took an rotary tool around the edge lol

I would have honestly guessed from appearance old one… looks beefier.

I opted for the hard rollup instead of the soft tri-fold this time around, and I love it. Yes, it’s like double the price, but it’s worth it to me.

It’s hard to describe, but it just feels better. Like everything is just more solid than before.

The B&O sounds cleaner. Noticably the bass.

The whole system just sounds cleaner, especially the bass. Songs that would rattle the sub in my 2022 don’t do that in the new one.

Additionally, the phone call clarity is a thousand times better as well.

It seems you're comparing this with a previous year you had.
Compare the price.
Is it worth it?
It doesn't do any good to compare one thing to another without considering the price.
