No, I also had to have the engine and transmission pulled to replace the engine dampener in the first 20k.Worst vehicle you’ve ever owned because of a cv failure? I used to own a Jeep wrangler. U-joint failures on the front axle are common. It’s analogous to a CV failure in the Maverick. Did I get upset and vent to the internet over it? Nope. It was a known issue. I did the same thing everyone else was doing; I drove the stock u-joints until they failed, about 25k miles, then I replaced the u-joints with stronger RCV brand CV axles.
likewise, when my maverick cv joints inevitably fail, I’ll let the dealer cover them if I’m still under warranty, and if not, I’ll use my own cash to get the stronger tremor cv joints to replace them.
