OR... you could just take off the skid plate and change your oil. It's not that much more time and you can inspect things like the CV axils for leaking boots (like my 2024 has; btw I've been waiting on a part since Christmas. Seriously; everyone needs to look for leaking grease boots.
My 22 was good but the recall on the air bag did me in. Headliner and A-pillar cover needed to be removed and I saw too may horror stories on the headliners getting smudges and not getting reinstalled correctly. I traded it in (without performing the recall work)on a 23 Bronco that I had ordered...
My 2024 Maverick AWD has a leaking passenger side CV axle boot leak. 20,100 miles. I do my own oil changes so I caught this and have only driven it about 2,000 miles. Taking it in tomorrow.
I’m in the 1000, 3000 and then every 4000 after. Mobile 1. I had my 22 2.0 FX4 for 18 months and now I have an all black 2024 2.0 AWD LUX/BAP 4K XLT. Just changed the oil Saturday (DIY).
I just go a piece of mail from Ford with a list of incentives one of which was $750 off in stock OR customer order for certain vehicles. Bronco was specifically excluded as well as others Shelby's. Dark Horse Mustang, however Maverick was not excluded and I have an existing order and recently...
ah yeah. I saw a hex head and knew it wasn't the right screw. It is a poor design; I always thought I was going to strip out the clip when I was doing my oil changes. I never use air tools as you don't have a feel for the right amount of tightness vs the point where oops/well sh*t occurs
You should never ever go more than 5k miles on a turbo charged engine. The fuel blows by the rings and dilutes the oil; not usually enough to change the level but enough to mess with the lubrication properties. Watch Ford Boss Me on YouTube.
They are not making a cheeseburger, they are grouping and optimizing an assembly line so making to order is impossible. We Bronco reservationists were told that our broncos would be built in the order of reservation. That was marketing BS. If you want made to order then buy a Rivian.
I have yet to see a lift that doesn't mis-align the wheel in the wheel well. It's like the wheel gets shoved to one side of the wheel well. So I wouldn't go more than 1" (what the Tremor package does).
