Actual production takes one day unless you have bed accessories added. The in production status can last several weeks because it goes through sent to plant, trim, produced, released before going into in transit status.

About 3 years ago when my Maverick was built, it was less than 1 day for the spray in liner to be completed.

Ya and they drilled holes into your gas tank and it sat at the dealer waiting for a new tank.

According to Ford, the number of Mavericks built in Q3 of 2024 was 44,824. That's 10,000 more than any other quarter since production began. Sounds like Ford took very little time between the model years to improve their process.
