I have a 2025 that is been in production for about a week and a half. I have read several conflicting stories regarding whether the 2025 Maverick will be on a six week quality control hold, as some other Ford new and updated models have been.
I think the best indicator of fact on this matter would be if someone's 2025 Maverick has actually ship yet.
So, HAS ANYONES 2025 SHIPPED ???

If there is a 6 week hold the earliest it would ship is the week of the 23rd.. Though I doubt they would ship on that holiday week. So probably will ship the 1st or second week of January.

Checked ford.com around 3pm and ours is still in Production.

Today, 30 November, I have found the window sticker.
Now we wait for QC 6 week hold.
Maybe ship sometime in January 2025.

I don't see a point of a hold, given that the changes are so minor. The sync4 system is proven and given the fact that it will get over the air updates, it seems it would negate any to the dealer recalls on that system. The AWD system on the hybrids appears to be the same system that's on the ecoboost, so that should be a proven system also. The only system I can see that would be a question mark is the HF55 hybrid transmission and that transmission has been on the Lincoln Nautilus Hybrid for a year now and in that application it is behind a ecoboost engine, so it's stressed with much more torque than the Maverick engine and that gives me confidence.

No because Ford is going to hold job 1 mavericks for 4-6 weeks for QC.

This has been stated so many times on here yet people decided to trust Ford chat and now believe their Mavericks are mere days or weeks from their possession…

It has been stated on here many times, but each time based on one single offhand statement made something like 4 months ago by Farley. Never been put in writing from Ford. Was all verbal.

Now.....it does look like it might be happening based on some folks seeing a "quality assurance" status on some of the active orders. But that is as close as we have gotten to seeing this supposedly 6 week hold in writing.

Long story short, the info from Ford Chat is just as reliable, if not more so than the one single verbal statement made months ago.

You may be right, but can you please post a link from Ford that says that ? I've searched everywhere I can think of and I can find proof of that anywhere. I've asked my dealer to research it and they can't come up with any evidence either.

Precisely. You said what I just commented, but using many fewer words......

Ive been doing this Ford ordering rodeo since covid.

The only thing less reliable than Ford chat is the @Ford Motor Company bot

Not mine. "In production" since 11/15.
Same here. In production since 11/16. When I ordered my 2022 XLT, once it said in production, it said built in about ten days. Hopefully, this will move along quickly. My dealer was confident I would have it for Christmas, but that was back in August. With all the new talk about tariffs and Mexico, certainly hoping he was correct.
