Not sure how angling a dead pedal affects the cost of production. Sounds like you're unhappy with your Maverick. Sorry to hear that.
That is the thickest of sarcasm. This post was created at a time when everyone was complaining about everything in the maverick. Like the angle of the dead pedal….

I had no intention of being sarcastic. I'm sorry you took it that way. I was only questioning how a dead pedal alignment would render the Maverick as a "POS" in your opinion and was hoping to get an explanation. Seems I got a dressing down instead.
***UPDATE***
I completely misread @710-oil-614 comments. He was being sarcastic about what he considered trivial complaints about the Maverick (and there have been) and not accusing me of being sarcastic. Scroll down to see his explanation and my reaction. Whew!

No. My original comment about tin can pos maverick was dripping in sarcasm. The one you originally replied to.

I was being sarcastic because people were complaining about….the angle of the dead pedal amongst just about anything else they could on the maverick.

I wish I could reach the damn foot rest so I could rest my foot on it.
But since I can't, I rest my foot on the door sill. I drive with my shoes off so no scuff marks on the sill. Yeah, I'm vertically challenged.
Maybe attach a block of wood on it? Do you have a minion costume so you can still trick or treat?

A left foot breaker does not rest his foot on the brake pedal. He/she may put foot their foot over the brake when it looks like something up ahead could require braking

The Number one factor in total braking distance is driver reaction time. Studies have shown that left foot braking reduces reaction time on average by .68 seconds. At 70 mph you are going almost 103 feet/second. That means the average left foot braker stops on average about 70 feet quicker than a right foot braker. That can very well be the difference in preventing an accident/injury/death. Just sayin.............. Once you go left footed, you will never go back!!:like::teehee:

Ooooh! Hahaha! I get you now. Another example of how much voice inflection plays a role in how we communicate.

I was quite happy with my Tremor. Sold it because I only fill EcoBoosts with premium and was average 25mpg - so really about 20mpg. I just didn't want that type of efficiency or lack thereof, and I got $3,400 more than I paid for it after 11,000 miles.

Now that we've got the AWD Hybrid 4K tow I'm back in the game for a 2025 and will be very very happy when it arrives -especially if the CV axles are updated.
