Mabett has 2 colors of seat covers, black and gray/white. I cannot understand why anyone would come up with white, but they did. Since that time they have made no attempts to produce any other color, so I ordered some covers from Coverado. I understand they are not quite as well made, but I am hoping they will hold up well. They look just as good as the Mabbett brand, and only time will tell. Wish me luck.

I'm not a fan of the gray and white covers. I wish they were available in all gray.

I consider myself a natural born slob. I know given enough time I'll spill coffee or soda on the
driver's seat. If it leaves a stain it sure will stand out on the white area.

I installed the black Mabett in my 24 XLT my friends thought they were factory. They were a little tough to install by myself, but well worth it. I tried another brand first at about the same price point as the Mabett, but they were a terrible fit wise so very satisfied with the black Mabett(but black and Orange or Grey would have been better)

I tried the Mabetts, the fit was perfect and they are soft but I couldn't get over the grippiness of the PU seat material (almost rubbery or no slip), it didn't breathe in summer and made my back hot, and any sweat or liquid would show up as a glossy smudge until completely wiped clean.

Opted to splurge on Clazzio at twice the cost for real leather inserts /vinyl body and more than happy with the results. Mabett fit slightly better on the corners due to being a stretchier material but leather feels better, doesn't smudge and breathes in summer.

Haven't tried Coverado, let us know about the results.

Looking at pictures of Mabett gray/white I understand Mabett was mimicking the gray and light gray pattern of the XLT fabric seat covers.
I think they look very nice. I still like my fabric seats better.

I have the fronts installed. Now my hands need to rest. Before you start I suggest you clip your nails really short because they will break. Also have a small flashlight handy.
As you can see everything is packaged well. The seats are stuffed inside the backs and the clips and chucks are in a plastic bag. Everything is very well packaged. If any parts are missing they tell you to call them for a replacement. All was good here.
Instructions are all in picture form. Install the chucks(circular things) on the covers. Also the clips, but not necessary because they are easy to add.
My first seat I did the back and then the seat. Second time I did the seat and then the back. I think it is easier to do the seat first so I could see everything. On my FX4, Ford extended the back of the seat all the way down under the seat. This makes it impossible to install the chucks they way it looks in the diagram, but not that hard to do from the front.
The hardest part is the snap clips that hold the seat down. I had to do a little gymnastics to get those to attach. There is very little room between the seat and the center console. Good luck if you have fat fingers. Would be much easier if a second person was there for 5 minutes to help.
All in all it went pretty quickly. The headrest looks a little dorky, but I do not see that when I am driving and I can always remove it. Installing the two front seats took half an hour. I have to help the neighbor now and then I will do the back.

Seats look good.

Here are 2 pictures of the front seat and the 3rd picture is the back of the seat with the extra fabric that extends down under the front seat. The chucks and a couple of the snaps that you need to access are under this fabric. You can see one of the snaps. They make the front a little more difficult to install and smaller hands can reach in there better. Overall I like how the front seats fit and how they look. My only concern is how long the elastic that holds the seat in place will last. I would give the seat a 9 and the headrest a 7 cuz they are funky looking and not a very tight fit.

I think that is all the pictures. You can see in the 1st picture there is a cup holder that folds down. When the seat cover is in place the cup holder folds out of the way and is basically gone. I do not allow cups in my car so I do not care that this is covered up with the seat cover.

The seats fit OK, but that is because there really isn't any place to tie them down. There are elastic straps that go under the seat and are connected to the front and rear of the seat. This should be able to hold them in place. If you look at the first and last photo you can see how the seat backs sort of just lay on the seats. They are not tucked in. Some elastic and chucks that are held down by the seat itself will hopefully keep them in place.

These seats covers are absolutely universal and do not fit the rear as well as the fronts do. The fit around the seat belt buckles is not very good, but I do not sit in the back seat. At least it should do a good job of protecting the original fabric. The fabric in the covers, and the cushion built into them is really nice. No faults there. I think this will last and not wear out, plus the color is good. I like the light grey against the dark grey doors.

I sure hope that second photo isn't your Maverick, the fabric looks like it's moldy. 🤔

Nope. It is a screenshot of a Maverick that had been in a accident. You can see the steering wheel air bag and the side airbag blown out.
