Someone's nephew just graduated from college. He was put in charge of FordPass He decided to show FOMoCo and his uncle how smart he was by "improving" the app.
Next week, he will be Chief Software Engineer at GM, showing his skills to Merry Berry.

My 2023 Ford Maverick Lariat Hybrid and 2020 Ford EcoSport SES have been showing in the Ford Pass App that the Vehicle Health is Temporarily Unavailable since Saturday, October 26, 2024. I thought it would have corrected itself over the weekend, however as of today (Wednesday, October 30, 2024) both cars are showing in the Vehicle Health under Service prompt Temporarily Unavailable. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it to no avail.

I spoke with a Ford representative (Samatha) from the 1-800 number yesterday, (Tuesday, October 29, 2024). The representative indicated there was a nationwide maintenance service and the Ford App should be up and running within a few hours. However, that never happened.

I called back today to the same 1-800 number (Dearborn, MI); the rep (Jackie) indicated there to again uninstall the app and re-install., including going to the car to uninstall and reinstall connectivity on the Ford Pass (both cars have Sync 3). Then, she found an issue with the server not being able to locate the connectivity to the EcoSport, however the Maverick was located. Again, I tried uninstalling the Ford Pass in the car and on my Android App (Pixel 6a).

The rep had to create a case number and gave instructions to call back tomorrow if the vehicle health issue does not resolve.

I have not seen any thread on the Forum regarding the issue I am having either in the past or present.

Anyone else in a similar situation regarding Ford Pass since October 26, 2024.

3rd or 4th day now.
Typical Ford. Improve it until it doesn't work, then abandon it.

I'm sure this has nothing to do with the app or the phone.

If the app is showing other data then the Ford server is up.

Probably a config problem on the ATT network to let traffic from the trucks get to the Ford server.

Since they don't really hide the fact they are using ATT network - they really should just provide a link in the app to ATT network issues, and shoot network coverage map too - then they could warn that communication with truck may be spotty in your areas.

Go measure the voltage on your 12 V battery. If it’s less than 12V the battery in your truck may be the problem. (The dreaded deep sleep issue) I was having the same thing happen when nights got cool. Measured voltage at 11.6 V, took the truck back to Ford for third time for deep sleep and they replaced the battery. Haven’t had any issues since.
