Ford Pass Vehicle Health - Temporarily Unavailable

My 2023 Ford Maverick Lariat Hybrid and 2020 Ford EcoSport SES have been showing in the Ford Pass App that the Vehicle Health is Temporarily Unavailable since Saturday, October 26, 2024. I thought it would have corrected itself over the weekend, however as of today (Wednesday, October 30, 2024) both cars are showing in the Vehicle Health under Service prompt Temporarily Unavailable. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it to no avail.

I spoke with a Ford representative (Samatha) from the 1-800 number yesterday, (Tuesday, October 29, 2024). The representative indicated there was a nationwide maintenance service and the Ford App should be up and running within a few hours. However, that never happened.

I called back today to the same 1-800 number (Dearborn, MI); the rep (Jackie) indicated there to again uninstall the app and re-install., including going to the car to uninstall and reinstall connectivity on the Ford Pass (both cars have Sync 3). Then, she found an issue with the server not being able to locate the connectivity to the EcoSport, however the Maverick was located. Again, I tried uninstalling the Ford Pass in the car and on my Android App (Pixel 6a).

The rep had to create a case number and gave instructions to call back tomorrow if the vehicle health issue does not resolve.

I have not seen any thread on the Forum regarding the issue I am having either in the past or present.

Anyone else in a similar situation regarding Ford Pass since October 26, 2024.

So it’s not just me! I had to go to dealer today to reset a lot of stuff on my phone and truck screen. Sun spots? 🤣

Noticed this yesterday or the day before. Not worried. It will come back. I am not messing with the app and will let it resolve itself.

Solution is simply, don't use Fordpass and move on with your life. 😁
Normally, I would agree, however there is just too much computerization on these new vehicles and getting a notification that a component is not operating properly could possibly help prevent a break down because you are being made aware of the failure.

My 24 XLT shows the same in the Ford pass app @plnc0792. But if I click on the vehicle health where it says it's temporarily unavailable it does still show me tire pressure, oil life remaining, and distance of oil life remaining, as well as the odometer reading.

My 19' Explorer Platinum also shows it's unavailable, but gives the full health report when you click on it in the app just like with my Maverick.

I can see turning it on if you actually have a malfunction light on, but otherwise why bother? There isn't anything in that vehicle health screen you cannot see from the LCD screen behind the steering wheel.

Mine was fine until today, Wednesday.
I am not going to worry too much about it, and probably will just wait for the fix, whatever it is. However, I will call ford back to check on the status. The Rep today stated she believed it was a server issue; that is an issue I have had with PC computers. I figure it will take a week or more until someone in their IT department can troubleshoot the issue, otherwise they may have to change the whole app like they did several months ago when they changed some of the features. They probably should have left the Ford App the way it was before making changes that quite possibly could be backfiring.

The only app problem I have is that it shows my truck parked in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean when I'm home in California, lol.
