My hood scoop looks like a hood scoop, not like a corrugated garbage can lid. You guys need to go back to the drawing board and re-design yours. I wouldn’t put that on my Mav even if you paid me to do it.

I keep seeing history repeating itself.
Headed back to the late 70’s early 80’s, all show, no go.
No fan of, stick on, non- functional, overpriced do-dads.
What is the point………..

I got the OEM hood scoop b/c it prevents light from bouncing off the hood and into my eyes. I don't think this one would b/c it leaves the part of the hood that reflects still uncovered

I think the biggest issue for most is going to be the transition to the factory hood. Most non functional add ons need to have the appearance that they are real. A big part of that is how it interacts at the edges. In this case the small lip around the edge detracts the most from it. After that its the plastic going straight up. The lip either needs to be removed or you should taper that entire edge to look more angular than square.

Did you repurpose some tailgate lettering onto that bug shield? That actually came out pretty good.

I contacted the person who I bought the tailgate lettering from and he reduced the size of the letters so they would fit better on the big shield. The letters were around $30.

Dear Maxzina,
First, thanks for making numerous value added accessories for the Maverick!! great job for those, but I'm sorry this plastic stick on hood vent is a huge pile of elephant dung imo

I agree, while I don't like the particular design of this scoop, or cowl, the lip around the edge makes it look a universal stick on piece from the ricer aisle at AutoZone. I am glad to see people making stuff for the Maverick though. Now maybe if they came out with a cool roof or tailgate spoiler I may be interested to see what they come up with.

That’s EXACTLY what I thought it was at first glance - a garbage can lid. Looks like Oscar the Grouch might come popping up out of that thing at any minute. 🤣 Yours is absolutely awesome though. Great eyewash after the OP pics. Thanks!

Is there instructions on how to cut the appropriate sized hole / holes in your hood to make this ā€œMaxzina Maverick hood ventā€ function correctly? I would be worried about F-ing up the paint with a sawzall.
