Why on earth would you buy more of a universally poorly rated tire when there are so many similarly priced alternatives that are much better?
If depends on the price.i dont have a problem at all on how the truck rides and drives.why pay say twice as much for tiers that aren’t alot better than i have now.they ride good, handle good, and no noise ! And if i get 30,000 thousand miles out of them why not get some more like it.

You like them, get them. Cost should not impact your likes.

For low price and weight close to continental OEM ( $179 @ discount/tire rack?) with 11/32" tread with 70k-80k milage wear = continental TRUE CONTACT.
ETA: There is a big difference in the 225 True Contact Tour and the 235 True Contact Tour = higher load limit and maybe $25 higher price. also it appears that they also have True Contact Tour54's which may have better rolling resistance (don't remember) just coming out!

I have had no problems, either with the stock CONs.
I have two sets... with Steelies.. 🤣

Even if they only last 30,000 to 40,000.
I am still ahead at 80,000. Without 💸 another dime...

Based on my current experience with my Maverick Continentals: $20 for a set of four.
Shot at 18k miles.

Gotta agree. But have to say “I hate buying tires!”

I put "better" tires on wife's and 20 tankfuls later, mpg is still 3 mpg lower.

There is no tire best at everything.
Yup. Every tire is a compromise. OEM contis are lightweight road tires. OEM tires generally wear out faster than replacements anyway. I have had good luck with contis in the past and would buy again.
