Glad it was just a mistake on their end! Don't take offense at all the speculation (mine included). Some of us really do have a weird obsession with this forum and spend an embarrassing percentage of our time here. Which means we have been around long enough to see and read most of the possible horror story variations regarding Mavericks being "accidentally" sold to the wrong person, the Ford tracker being very unreliable, etc.... This is one where I am glad we were wrong.

Mine when into production on Jan 12th of 23 and was built and delivered to souther Wisconsin on feb the 6th of 23.. So that was around 3 weeks.. Delivery was just 2 weeks.. It left Mexico then sat at a train yard near St. Louis for almost 2 weeks. Before being put on a convoy semi and then it was just 10 hours after it was loaded it was delivered to the dealership
The guy I talked to today said it usually takes 4 weeks for delivery here.
Ya I thought mine would take longer.. I had been hearing some of them would sit in Chicago for a week or 2 also.. Sinse I'm only about 1 hr from the outskirt of Chicago I just figured it was going by train to there.. So I was surprised when they said it was loaded on a semi in st.luis
If it had been delivered on Tuesday, you would have likely found a cat inside. 50/50 as to whether or not it would be alive. So you're honestly better off having been the observer of a dealership mistake rather than a legitimate wave function collapse. Although the latter would go over better at faculty parties.
you are, of course, assuming that when he pulls up, the dealer is there, instead of not there . . .
don't count out the cat yet . . . they're kind of crafty (so do check all storage areas when it arrives!)
