I don't think I could wait any more! Go check it out!

Too long of a drive and I have other commitments today. They never returned my call. I wasn't expecting it for at least another month, anyway. I'll find out Monday or Tuesday.I don't think I could wait any more! Go check it out!![]()
I'd go to the dealer just so some other Sales person doesn't sell it out from under you.I think I'd go to the dealer and confirm in person, that the Maverick is there. Or isn't. Don't trust the tracking system too much.
We have a contract. I called and left a message. They didn't call me back. I don't believe it has been built yet.I'd go to the dealer just so some other Sales person doesn't sell it out from under you.

Uhh......as someone who has been around this forum since January of 2022, "we have a contract" has been said fairly frequently by people, usually in response to other folks telling them to get over to the dealership to ensure everyone is on the same page. They exclaim "All is well, I HAVE A CONTRACT".We have a contract.
You wouldn’t be the first.Lots of speculation from people.
Facts:
1. Salesman texted me that truck had arrived. I texted back asking how that was possible. He called me and said my name showed up on a spreadsheet (not my order number) for the vehicles. He said he's off work until Tuesday but will look into it then. He knows I intend to get the vehicle.
2. I called the dealership in the afternoon. You cannot reach a person directly. I navigated the menus and got to the sales department, left a voicemail explaining the situation, and asked for someone to call me back. No one called me back.
3. The dealership told me on 8/16 that my truck was scheduled for production the week of 9/23. Ford sent me an email on 8/20 confirming that.
4. When I checked status through Ford today, it still showed production scheduled for the week of 9/23. It also showed that the last status update was on 8/29, but I don't know what that was, because it only shows the scheduling.
Because they notified me on 8/20 that they were scheduling production, I can't imagine it is possible they built the truck before then. Today is 9/20. Assuming they built the truck on 8/21 (even though it supposedly wouldn't be built before 9/23), based on everything I've seen about delivery times in this forum, I can't imagine that it would have been built and transported from Hermosillo to Orlando in just 4 weeks.
I also can't imagine that the dealership would bother to notify me that the truck has arrived and then sell it out from under me in less than a day.
But what do I know?
Yup! My domino's pizza order from last month is still shown as being prepared by Jose even though we ate the heck out of it the same night we bought it...Imagine a situation where the tracker didn't get updated and your vehicle did get built ahead of schedule. It happened with my very first Bronco.
May have been someone’s else order that was cancelled but was still being built and matched our order. So it was shipped out to fulfill your dealer orderWindow sticker doesn't show up yet for VIN, either.
No. It doesn't match my order, and mine is still scheduled for production next week. See my post immediately preceding yours.May have been someone’s else order that was cancelled but was still being built and matched our order. So it was shipped out to fulfill your dealer order
