Yes. I added this to the cubby tapping off the 12V whip. It only stays powered while the engine is running. I have an Ecoflow Delta 2 power pack (left side of bed pic) to power the fridge while stopped. The combo lasts me for 3 days while camping. If needed, the Ecoflow can be recharged from the 12V connection while driving.

That looks really clean. What 12v panel is that?

You have to remove the D-hook and cubby. Attach the 12V whip and route to the back of the cubby.

Tip: Cut the square/rounded corner hole in the cubby to just circle the connections leaving surface for the mounting screws. Re-install the cubby and then attach the panel. You won't be able to reinstall the cubby with the panel and connectors already attached. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B3WXS3GQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I have a Colman Extreme that is about 14" deepX27" longX17.5" high and it fits perfectly. Pretty sure two will fit side by side.

I have been amazed at how good these coolers are considering their cost. The hinges are suspect but replacements are available at a reasonable cost and installation is a breeze.

You can't see my divider since it's painted black. This 12V fridge is a perfect fit and keeps perfect temp from freezer to fridge temps. https://euhomy.com/collections/car-refrigerator-1/products/portable-car-refrigerator...

One modification you may want to consider is changing how long power is provided to the 12 volt plugs with the key off. By default it is somewhere between 1 - 2 hours. You can change that to whatever you like or disable it outright. The BMS sensor should override that when the battery gets down to about 50 - 60% charged or 12.06 - 12.2 volts and cut off the power to the plugs. That fridge you have should also have voltage monitor to determine when to shut off the unit and that should be set to 12.2 volts for in vehicle usage. 50% discharge is right on the edge of causing issues with a lead/acid battery unless it is a deep discharge type. Better to err on the side of caution and set it closer to 60%.

With all that said you need the forscan software and go into the body control module (BCM) settings. Power Point Timeout is the main setting, either enabled or disabled. If enabled the next setting Power Point Timeout, s determine how long in seconds power is provided to the plug when they key is off.

Thank you for the suggestion! I had wanted to change the Power Point Timeout to somewhere between 5 and 15 minutes (retain power when stopped for gas or something). Although I can't find the thread now, I seem to remember posts stating that the ability to keep power to the 12V was eliminated in later models (mine is a 2024). However, I expect what actually changed, if any, was the factory default was changed to no power after engine off in later models which is my experience. I'll make the modification to the BCM over the next week and report back as to my success or failure.

I'm trying this one.

Fits your spec. 12v/120v, iPhone app to monitor temp. Works with tonneau down, gate closed, fits between gate and 2x6 bed divider. So far, no problems since 6/19/24.

This one goes on sale every few weeks for around $240 and features an LG compressor. I've been using it for about a year now and love it.

I will say if not wired directly to 12v a fridge may not play entirely nice with the rear plug when it cycles on and off.

My Yeti 35 also fits behind the divider no issues and under the tonneau.

I have one of those coolers also just a slightly different model that holds about 38qts and has wheels and a handle. On my truck which is a 2022 when I first hooked it up as a test I was able to get it from about 72F to 20F in about 15 minutes with the key off and run for about up to an hour or a little more afterwards with the key off before the truck cut the power to the 12 volt plug. IIRC the voltage draw to get it to temp dropped the battery to 12.48 volts and down to I forgot after it had cut off the plug. If I get a chance I'll do it again this weekend to see exactly what voltage the BMS cuts the power to the plug.

Yeah it most likely a software setting and that will also apply to the 12v and USB plugs in the cab. As far as the wireless charger goes for the phone I couldn't say if it also is applicable since I don't have a Lariat build.

Great info. Thanks! I have a voltage monitor/cutoff connected to the OBD port to power the "Parked Mode" feature of my dashcam. I have that set to 12V cutoff. I know it's a different circuit from the 12V, 110 and USB outlets. If my Mav is parked in the dark/empty garage not triggering the camera, the voltage stays above 12.4V. But if my Mav is outside with a lot of movement around it, the cutoff triggers after 24-36 hours and the Fordpass app remote features are disabled until I drive for a few miles to recharge. I don't want to power the fridge for longer than it takes to make a short stop while traveling. That's why I have the EcoFlow battery for longer downtime. Total system seems to work well but adding the Power Point Timeout will really help.

The factory default power point timeout for my 2024 is 75 minutes. It can be changed to whatever you want.

Just checked the as built data for mine and it is the same default value for a 2022 XL.

I redid the test only this time I got it down to 20F while the engine was running before cutting the power. I also set the Euhomy voltage monitor setting to H1 which should guarantee the BMS would cutoff power before the compressor did. It ran 4 hours without any issues until the power point timeout limit was reached. Truck also cranked over with no issues afterwards. I have to say I am pleased with the setup and performance from the cooler down to the truck's voltage management.

In my case I use the cooler to transport frozen foods like ice cream from the giant shopping warehouses like Sam's Club. The nearest ones to me are about 2 hour drives. Being able to keep it running at temp with the key off while shopping or if I want to stop afterwards for any reasons is extremely useful.
