I have a 2025 Mav on order, and am beginning to look at tonneau cover options. I would like something hard for better protection from potential theft and snow loads during the wintertime. I will probably have it installed on the truck most of the time. However, I am also going to be needing to have easy access to the full bed multiple times per year during the summer months for hauling of landscape materials, trash to the landfill, etc. So I'd want a tonneau cover that could easily be fully removed as well and not just folded to the cab or rolled up. Loosening a few bolts or clamps would be fine since that would be quick, but I'm not wanting something that would take half an hour, multiple tools, etc. to take off or put back on. Are there reasonably-priced hard tonneau covers out there that would provide a full easy on-off capability when I would want to fully remove it?

Oedro & Mostplus hard tonneau covers are just 2 brand names of generic tonneau's that are marketed on Amazon and/or eBay. If you search yourself you may find more.
Both are trifold hard covers, reasonably priced, easily removed no tools needed.

I offer no guarantee these are still available. YOU have to do your own research.
Good luck

You've got my hopes up, still looking for the right tonneau covers. Amazon has no listing for Oedaro and Mostplus tonneau covers

It seems that Oedero and MostPlus probably split up into two companies, each with their own wesites. Oedero website does not list any tonneau covers for the RL, hard of soft. The MostPlus website lists only one soft, but no hard covers for the RL.

Do you haapen to have a link where the hard covers are available? Thx...

This is the exact same cover as the Oedro. It is a generic cover marketed under multiple brand names. I have it on mine. You may need to add some extra insulation where the cover meets the back window sill because there can be some leakage, though minor. Takes about five minutes to take off, ten minutes to put back on. Four clamps, no tools needed. Make them an offer around $299 and it probably gets accepted. Ships very well packaged.

With a little research I found these.
These will fit a Ford Maverick.
I have no idea what an RL is
These are generic. Made by a factory in China sold the companies who want to put their name on them and market them.

The one Glen posted is almost identical in how the Extang solid food I had on my F150 installed. Install was simple and removal was just as easy, 1 person could do it.

The extang solid fold was over $1k though, I remember that.

The mx4 bakflip folds a true 3 times to up against (4” or so from back window ,removes with 2 pins and no tools and is about 2 times the price of the cheap chinese bi fold or truly 2 fold covers covers , marketed as trifold. There is another brand out there too that is true 3 way or tri fold just cant remember the brand , but they were up to about $1000 too.
Comes down to how much do you want the convenience.

Osias is the brand that I have. Purchased from ebay. Same mounting design. Includes LED lights.
I added a thread cap on the front mounts as safety from vibrating loose. I drive some rough roads.

Coming to a FORD MAVERICK FORUM, in order to find parts information on your Honda Ridgeline is somewhat different.
Maybe try a Honda forum?
Good Luck

I think most of these have a very similar mechanism. Gator Trio from Realtruck is another option. Believe that most of these China ones are some sort of plastic composite, where others are thin aluminum with some sort of honeycomb or styrofoam material sandwiched in between. I was worried about fade in the Florida sun, so ordered from Realtruck. If you PM them, you’ll get a very nice deal. And it is made in the USA if that matters to you. What I got: https://realtruck.com/p/gator-trio-hard-fold-tonneau-cover/v/ford/maverick/2024/.

The OP stated he wanted reasonably priced. Personally, I do not consider over a Thousand dollars, to be reasonably priced.
I will agree BakFlip are better quality and design, offering rear window protection when raised. BUT, if you can't afford over $1,000 what is the point? Some times there is adequate or overkill for ones needs and wallet.

Another made in USA option. I've had it on for about a month, taking it off would be a snap. Here is an install video. that shows how they clamp it on.

Just gave him a true tri fold option , and stated price , nothing hidden here .
Matter of convenience over a bi fold cover, thats all.
So I will not suggest over your suggestions anymore .

I do not have a problem with your suggestions. As a matter of fact I agreed the BakFlip is better and is a true tri-fold but cost double +!!!
A true description of what I posted would be tri-panel bi-fold.
I tried to post within the OP requirements.
Which I highlighted so as not to get glossed over. A lot of folks skip details of original posting.
I have no idea what the OP considers reasonable, so I used what I consider reasonable and still functional within the spirit of the OP's requirements.
I hope you understand.
Take care
