I recently posted about how pleased I am with my 24 Mav Hybrid at 46.9 mpg ! I am seeing members from U.S. & Canada ! The Canadian gallon of gas is larger than the U.S. gallon ! are we all comparing apples to apples when it comes to MPG ?

False.
The Canadian gallon or imperial gallon is 1.201 US gallons.
Oh no kidding? Whenever I was in BC the prices were per litre, but that's been a few years ago so maybe they've changed that.

nah we buy our gas in liters. I don't know about others, but whenever I talk about MPG I'm taking L/100km and I use google to do the converting. It defaults to to miles per (US) gallon. I don't know anyone that uses Imperial gallons, nor do I think most people in north america even know that exists. 5.5L/100km = ~43mpg roughly.

Might be a UK thing but I doubt we get many of them in here.

I knew the Imperial Gallon existed, and I think your reply probably answers OP's question as they intended.

I love my MPG.!
I get over 42 MPG ...Lately I'm getting 44 MPG. Thats on 87 octane and being over a mile high.
I noticed other Maverick owners posts get better mileage ..but they are closer to sea level...

So the computer from the factory is more optimistic than real world results, which tend to be 3 (US) mpg lower if you actually calculate mileage and gas used.

But yeah, we live in a very hilly spot and love getting more than twice the mpg as our other cars!

At 1750 miles I am averaging 41.6 mpg per the vehicle computation. I am sure it will increase with my first oil change in a few weeks.

In town it is easy to get over 60 MPG on average. This morning I was pulling ~80 during my morning run. My best is mid 100's.

There is a near 100 mile highway trip I take very frequently and I regularly maintain ~42 on. Freeway speeds I drop to that ~38.

on 9/1 we filled up our 2023 Hybrid for the 6th time since buying it. I and calculated our mileage from day 1. We have driven 3,076 miles since we bought the truck Nov 16, 2023 and have purchased a total of 73.406 gallons of gas costing $189.26 which averages to 41.9 mpg. I love my little truck! We traded in a 2023 Ranger which we had for 6 months. Very happy that we made the swap.

I think my MPG trend is the result of my learning curve rather than powertrain break-in. The numbers shown here run about 5% higher than what I measure at the pump, assuming the odometer is accurate. Still trying (and failing) to break 50 for an entire tank.

I avg. 38 on my Hybrid... doesn't help I do 80mph with a little get on the gas because of the dumb asses camping in the left lane for 1/2 of my 20 mile commute.
