Kind of hard to do when 80% of my driving is stop and go in town driving. If I made a 500 mile trip on the highway I am sure I would get 40+ mpg over the whole trip. It just shows good mileage is possible if you drive conservatively.
The trick here would be two key things; fill up first after you have have warmed up (no warm up cycle), and then keep your highway speeds as optimal as you can for mileage. Stay at whatever speed is optimal for a given terrain and wind conditions to within whatever highway speed needs to be maintained. You could probably do it.

I tried the reset in motion once up to 55 mph on cruise control. Traffic was too heavy to maintain 60. And at one interchange I had to almost stop then reaccelerate losing all my momentum.
Also started at 94°F and ended at 91°F so I was using air conditioning at a medium setting. Temperature as cold as it goes and fan at 3 or 4.

So not ideal conditions.
And not quite 55 MPH the whole time.
