Did you ever do forscan or encounter any other issues? I'm looking to get maybe a lariat seat into my XL but can't find much of other people having done this online etc.
Good luck, he hasn't been on the site since January,,,,,,

No i have not done anything with forscan. I did purchase a forcan but have not worked with it yet. I also bought the hvac controls with heated seats controls that I will work on this summer. But fortunately the power seat has been work good like I have it now. Between living in two different states and unexpected family care taking I just didnt find the time to work on it. I did put the original seat back in long enough to have the airbag recall taken care of. We are up to 25,000 miles now and enjoying it.

Hmm why is that? You're protected under Magnusson moss warranty act ? Doing anything to your car doesn't void the warranty and any dealer who claims that is full of BS.

Just scored both seats out of a LTX with the Lux package. Guess what I'm going to do? swap these. Made a speed run to Orlando to Redline Auto Parts. Both seats with airbags in tact for $799. The problem is they are the wrong color, so I'm going to have to do the Leather DIY seat cover swap of all the material and upper plastic molding to the Lux seats. The power drivers seat buttons were shown in a picture, but not the passengers 2 adjustment handles. Once he sent the pics of the 2 adjustment handle, heated seat, I bought them and drove down to get them. Little over 2 hours down, 33 MPG (all but 4 miles gas), 2 and a half back with traffic, 36 MPG (25 miles electric)

I will post pictures and a write up of this project. For the passenger seat, I'm willing to use the method of getting power from the floor fuse box.

After more research the 20 amp spare (#24) in the floor fuse box is not switched with the ignition, 12v live constantly.

https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/heated-seat-install.25964/

A 10 amp should be sufficient to power one seat heater. Both seats are powered by 20 amp (#47) from the under the hood. The Power drivers seat is powered by #42.

DARNON: You seem to be able to get schematics of plugs, is there anyway you can get them and post for both the main plugs under the front seats. I'd like to know what each pin is supposed to be wired. for? Thanks in advance.

Here is where I stand with this swap.

The 2025 with all manual seats has a completely different plug for C305. The main plug under the seat. I want to leave the wiring harness in my truck stock. I am going to have to buy 2 more of the plugs from the 2025 seats and unpin and rewire the plugs under the 2022 power/heated seats. I am looking for the part number for the plugs. I'm working on where to get the power from for the heated seats and power drivers seat.

If you have a 2022 -2024 XLT without the Lux package there is a possibility that your Maverick is already wired correctly at C305 under the seat and this swap would be much easier. All you would need otherwise is the HVAC control panel from an XLT with LUX package, and swap it out also.

I have ordered 2 male connectors to put under the '22 seats, and the pins that go in them. I have worked out the wire location from the '22 seats to the '25 plug.

Here is the decision that I am having: Do I try to do everything thru C305 (drivers) and C331(passengers plug? or by pass the plugs all together and bring power straight to wear it is needed.

DO I try to wire the connectors for everything? or do bring power straight to the drivers seat at the the control switch pins 10 (+) and 11 (-)? same for the heated seat Bring the (+) to C365 pin 1, and (-) to C364 Pin 2 and call it complete.

Currently when I swap connector the under the seat male connection (C305):
Pins '22 to '25
1 Move to Pin 10 + for power seat
2 Empty
3 CR201 - Pin3 CR301
4 VR215 - Pin 4 VR215
5 Empty
6 Empty
7 RR172 - Pin 7 RR172 *color doesn't match
8 Move to Pin 11 main ground for heat/power
9 CHS02 - 9 power for heat
10 RH111 - Move to pin 12
11 RHS05 - move to pin 13
12 CR105 - move to pin 16
13 RR105 - move to pin 17

The problem is I'm not sure what to do with the "sense" circuit from the HVAC control unit? See attached heated seat wiring diagram. I will have to have an external switch. Power will go from the BCM to Switch to Seat, I will have a Power (+) wire and a ground (-) back to the switch.

Don't need to wire NTC Sense and NTC Return since no wires back to the HVAC Control Module.
The seat bottom heat pad has the NTC Thermistor sensor.
It would give temperature feedback to the HVAC Control Module so it can adjust the voltage going to the seats to control temperature.

Power seat wiring going thru C305 on 22-24 use the larger size terminals at #1, #8.
If wired thru the 2025 connector I'd want to use the 2 larger pins (2.8mm) it has, otherwise I'd go straight to the power seat.

I see what you mean about the "Sense" circuit. I'm not sure why I got it in my head that they are connected. (like, no sense, no power).

I'm inclined to try this thru C305 using your last wiring diagram because the seats I got are out of a 2022 XLT with the LUX package. Only difference would be being no wires in #10 and #11, no sense circuit needed. Pin #7 is GN-VT for a manual seat but should still function for the buckle/Track Position. Does the same function just different color wire.

Round up of wires needed: Female side of C305
14 gauge ,+12V, 30A fused - power seat

14 gauge, - ground. Thinking about from behind glove box similar to some of the after market heated seat installs threads on the forum. This grounds both the power seat and heated seat but not my external switch. Where too?

16 gauge heated seat feed ('22 pin 9). From external switch.

16 gauge external power switch heat ground. Will this work if I bound both grounds at the same point (see picture)? I think so, similar to how the one ground does both functions in the '22.

All wires would need to be moved from the '22 plug to the '25 plug. If mine were wired like yours this would be so much easier.

As you mention I'm not required to follow the '25 pin destinations. I can use any pin numbers I want., but since the largest wire gauge is 14 I am going to try an stick to the pin numbers as closely as possible. If the power and ground don't fit, I'll use the larger pin connections.

It's interesting how the wire gauges are bigger on trucks like yours without the power seat, then those with the LUX package. Seems like there was planning ahead for people to add power or heat?

Where do I find information/video on tapping the BJB? How are wires brought outside the BJB? I've seen how people get thru the firewall with other mods, not the BJB.
