Let me know how you like it. I am just outside of Halifax.I'm getting a soft tri fold from the dealer for 585 in cape breton.
Sounds high to me for a soft roll-up.I bought my Maverick 15 Oct, ordered a soft roll-up tonneau cover from the parts guy at the Ford dealership that I bought my truck from... still waiting. I was quoted around $700 installed.
This leaves me wondering, are they marking it up and charging me an hour shop rate ($160) to install it... if and when it comes in?
Here it says MSRP is $461 Cdn:

We are running into the same problem here. The manufacturers haven't updated their products for the Maverick. Just like the LED lights for Reverse bulbs. I don't know how many ask if they work since Amazon says they won't fit the Maverick. But there have been a bunch that have installed them with no issues.Yes, the Amazon Easy Button works here. Mind you I don't see any Maverick ones available. Hopefully the dealer comes thru... would be nice to have a tonneau cover on it before it snows.
Might have to go that route if the dealer doesn't come through. Thanks for that link! There can be some extra charges couriering stuff into Canada, and the exchange rate always has to be considered. Sometimes you're not saving much when all is said and done. It was stressed to me, at the dealer parts counter, that if I bought it thru them, and they installed it, it would be covered under the vehicle warranty! ...if it sounds too good to be true...We are running into the same problem here. Can't you go to www.tonneaucoversworld.com and see if they will ship to Canada?

I'd install it myself$460 cdn from dealer is fair price. same tonneau from etrailer delivered to toronto is $440. did you expect the dealer to install it for free? .

I was originally getting the first edition, until Ford decided to stop selling them. When I reconfigured my order to a Lariat Lux package with sunroof (as close as I could get to the 1st edition) I decided to save a few bucks by getting the tonneau elsewhere and installing myself also.I'd install it myself

No. I would install it myself if I could. Looks easy to do:
It's easy ONLY if you can install it INSIDE. Wouldn't want to do it in the cold.I was originally getting the first edition, until Ford decided to stop selling them. Looks about like installing a camper top, and that I have done before. Took all of about 15 minutes.
I just sent Ford Canada this... never know, maybe at least I get free install out of it:https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/f...x-cover-soft-folding-on-xlt-hybrid-base.3347/
Probably an error on their site but maybe you can try to get something out of it
Let us know if someone try something with their dealer![]()
