We are close to our first service, about 13 months after receiving truck, at about 7k miles. The sales end of the dealer we bought from were fine to work with. But when I looked into the service side, and saw the customer reviews, which were terrible, I decided to do the service at a different dealer. I found one, similar distance (other directions) that got very good reviews.
I've communicated with them via their chat for 3 days now, explaining what I needed. They say they will have someone from the service department contact me to answer my questions about the service and set up an appointment.
Never happens.
So am I weird to wonder whether dealers are reluctant to do a first service when they were not the dealer that sold the truck? Some kind of family rule?
