Recently purchased a 2024 lariat hybrid and had the dealer install the ford hard roll up bed cover. It leaks terribly every time it rains and pools water all over the top. If you try to open it up a lot of water also leaks into the bed.
Anyone else having this problem?
Also has anyone found a bed mounted rack suitable for a canoe that works with this bed cover?

Tonneau covers are to keep people from seeing what's in the bed, caps are for being able to see what's in the bed and wondering if they really want to break in. Both leak, it's a fact, get over it.

Mine doesn’t leak, granted I live in Az, but even going through the car wash it doesn’t.

Even the tri-fold hard cover leaks, the main advantage to it is making the bed completely lockable. These things aren't meant to be watertight. But I hate it, it gets in the way and blocks off full use of the bed. This time I'm going with the foldable and removable soft cover.

Hyundai managed to make a rolling and watertight cover for the Santa Cruz but it eats up a LOT of bed space up near the cab.

Moral: if you want to keep it dry, keep it in the cab.

Well I’ve had both on half a dozen pickups over the years. Most have been pretty good at keeping things in the bed dry. This thing is terrible. I’m taking it back to the dealership.
So per my original question do you have this specific tonneau cover? If so does it leak…bad?

Do you have the drainage tubes hooked up?

It was installed by the dealership prior to taking delivery but there are no drain tubes installed. I’ll find the installation instructions online and see if there was supposed to be. Thanks.

I have the same cover, the original was dealer installed before delivery (May 23). Minimal leaks.
After having the felt hand grips replaced in Sept 23, they had to take the top off, fix new felt, and replace it leaked quite a lot, front and back. The front seal was almost touching the window.
June 24, the glue had melted again and felt was off. The dealer replaced the cover (Ford now authourized replacement, not repair). I noticed that the cover was positioned about 1/4 - 3/8" further back, can now see the paint between the window and front of cover. It is now pretty much water resistant, even in a heavy rain. The biggest leak now if at the seam of the box top rail caps.
Even less water entry at the top of the tailgate.

Installation, positioning is the key. Forward or backward in the locking rails.

Sorry, after looking it looks like there are no drainage tubes with that cover.

Jeff, I have the same cover and had it installed at the factory when I ordered it. I just went to the car wash. It leaked. I knew it did, and wasn't surprised. It appears mine leaks at the tailgate seal. But with the big gaps where the tailgate meets the fenders, I think it would be difficult to have water tight.

As others have said, you may be able to reduce the leaks with adjusment, but I think it's a safe bet that anything you place in the back could get wet. Atleast on the bottom.

Good luck! :)
