Just got my Ford REV hard roll up bed cover.

I picked up the tonneau cover I ordered from Ford. Pretty straight forward to install. I like the look and it is very solid. One thing to consider... I have three 2x4s stacked in front of the tail gate.. ( cause I had some 2x4s handy when I got my truck) ... Something to be aware of. When you add the cover, the rails extend into the bed. It is more difficult to put the barrier back in place.. it take a little planing and fore thought.

Thank you... I think it is the predecessor to the current version. I do like the FORD logo added to the cover. Kinda cool touch.

Someone mentioned adjustable load locks you can get they look to be affordable

This is the same tonneau cover that I ordered with my truck I am content with it, however seems dealer prep washed the vehicle and the water turned to ice in the sub freezing temps and made it difficult to roll it up as the 1st tab or 2 that snap into the rails were ice bound. Might make it hard to roll up in my WI winters or maybe I'm just babying it since it is hours old to me and Don't want to break anything.

I installed mine myself and noticed it needs a little adjustment... I am going to let it be for a few days and wait until it is a little warmer outside before i do anything. That way the rubber moulding will settle a bit more too. Otherwise it looks good... Works pretty smooth. I'm happy with it.

Did you get the cover to seal against the tail gate? I had mine installed at the Ford dealership. I have a 1/8 gap across the tail gate

Pretty sure that's the X2. The X4s has black powder coat on the underside. Still a nice cover!

Thanks for mentioning your experience about freezing up the cover. We considered this type of cover but seemed skeptical about so many parts. We have similar weather here and will probably look at other covers. Thanks!

I am letting mine set in place a few days and then will go back and adjust it if I need to.
