About right from my perspective. With the stock Pirelli tires and 91 E-free I easily get 32 on a trip and 25 around town. These Mavericks with the 2.0 are simply phenomenal and this is coming from someone (me) that does not impress easily. :D

I drove my 2.0 800 miles to Florida and got 34 at an average of 80 mph. Around town I'm getting 28. Mid grade gas with a soft tonneau cover.

do you reset the trip odometer each tank? or are you watching the mpg based on the total 2200 miles you have on the truck?

Maybe if you do a search on the subject that could change.

Have an Escape with same (2.0) and run in ECO all the time. Sticker said 28 highway, almost always get above that on the highway. Hopefully my Maverick (when it comes in) will do the same (listed at 29 highway). Thursday I drove from central MA up to central ME (264 miles) to pick up a new snowmobile trailer. When I got gas near the dealer, the dash still said 250 miles to empty. I averaged 33.8 MPG with cruise set between 72 and 75. New trailer is 90" high (ground to top), 90" wide, 410lbs heavier and 4' longer than what I have been towing with the Escape since 2020. I figure total weight (trailer, 2 sleds, 2 men and gear to be 2700 or so). New trailer is 16" taller, but 12" narrower... Hoping the 2 will net out with the wind resistance. LOL. With the Escape I get in the 13's to 17 depending on speed. Towing trailer on the way home (empty) I got in the 14's. So, guessing mileage should be similar to the Escape.

Have just under 6k miles on my Tremor and its sitting on 29.0 MPG-never reset. Been getting between 31 and 32 for the last several tank fulls. Use 92 octane non-ethanol mostly 2 lane hilly rural roads. Happy is an understatement as I'm not the poke along clog up the road type!

My stock 22 Lariat EB, 18" Michelins at 35 psi, I was in that range using 87 octane. 91 didn't change that. I was happy with 31.+ highway in that peppy 2.0 EB. So based on my experience, you are right where you should be. Enjoy it, don't obsess.

I now have 2,989 miles on my Maverick XL ecoboost. It has averaged 28.2 miles per gallon over the 4 months I have owned it. The computer says it is getting 30.2. Check your mileage with the math to see if the computer is accurate. I am happy with the 28.2. I am using regular unleaded and using normal mode most of the time. I have not taken any long trips so I think it will get at least 30 mpg on long highway trips. I don't trust the computer, but I love the truck.

I drive my 22 XLT hybrid like I stole it, and average 38 mpg overall with the A/C blasting, towing it gets 22-26 mpg. Yeah I know it's a thread about EB's but I've been driving Hybrid vehicles for the last 14 years, I'm not going back. The bed is loaded with camping gear with an ARE cab hight cap all the time.
