I just added cruise control to my 22 XL backlit on the switches worked yesterday, now they don’t, any ideas? All the buttons work as usual just not backlit.

Do your center and overhead console buttons still illuminate? Have you added an auto-dimming mirror by chance?

Yes, all the other lights are illuminated just not the wheels.

Maybe a loose pin in the harness in the steering column or the harness in the wheel itself. Look up on how to swap out the wheel with a ST or wheel with paddles to see how to remove whee and access harness. Good luck I’m just spitballin here.

Hey Man did you ever figure out what was causing the switches and no backlighting issue ? Mine just stopped and I checked all the fuse and all good.
All still functional like yours were. Everything appears to be just the same problem as you had. Thats why I was wondering if.
Thank you in advance if you see this and reply back.

I agree. The first thing I would do is remove the airbag/horn/switch section of the wheel to check and reseat the connections.

Ok thank you .
I will take another look at it.
I do know that Pin #10 on the clockspring is supposed to be the illumination wire for the switches so I ill start by doing a continuity check and make sure its not the clockspring itself.
