New third Key Buttons not working!

So I just programmed a third key fob with the remote stat button for My maverick and it does indeed start the ignition and the programming said successful but the lock, unlock, alarm system buttons are not working! Should I try programming it again? My Maverick says I have 3 admin keys now. The new one is slightly different and is the only key where the buttons are not working. I already tried putting a new battery in it! Any suggestions?

@Redneck Garage Do you have any suggestions? I followed the tutorial you posted. Should I try it again? Not sure why the buttons don't work. Do I need to click the unlock/lock buttons shortly after programming?

I tried programming it again and didn't work. The key is a different one than my factory one is this why?

The key needs to be the same type. Otherwise the entire computer system needs to be reprogrammed. I have this type.

I had ford cut the key. I just tried programming it to my car and the car did say the programming worked. So it does start my vehicle but the key fob buttons don't work. Ill just get a 4th key like the stock one and do the same thing and those key fob buttons WILL work lol.

That will work. I'm surprised they didn't question the difference in your original key and the other one.

I got a local mobile locksmith to cut 2 keys for $75 and I programmed them myself.

You can have a maximum of 4 programmed key fobs.
