Decided that I wanted a different look for my truck without sacrificing mileage . Found some Drag rim DR-67's that were on a 2019 Ford Edge with Bridgestone Bilzzak snow tires . They came with TPMS sensors installed and all the lug nuts.

Found another set of Suburu OEM tires that had 300 miles on them . Yokohama 225/60/18 Avid GT s35's. The owner put on wild peaks because he lived on a dirt road .

Had Discount Tire do all the dirty work . I've got about $700 total invested with my full set of OEM 17's and a set of almost new 255/55/18 snows to sell.

I think it looks great and the ride is smoother . Hope the mileage and traction are as good as the OEM conti's .

Those look very similar to the Focus RS forged 19" wheels - which I think look great. Do you know if they are also forged? Did they require hub rings?

The Ford edge rims and the maverick have identical 63.4 center bore .
The drag rims have a 74.1 bore
These rims came with the rings installed .
The offset on the drag rims is +40 and the maverick is +37.5 ,but the rims are 8 inch wide versus 7.5 for stock . They stick out a half inch further and fill the wheel better . 3mm taller
Drag DR series rims are cast as are the oem rims .
The wheel weights will be an easy rust oleum brush on fix .
It amazes me that you noticed it .
I sure didn't and now it will bug me .

This was Discount Tire/ America's Tire . Only 1100 stores and counting . I guess the extra expense and keeping track of black weights would get cumbersome . For me , its not real important .
I wouldn't have noticed it until you mentioned it .

Question regarding the tire pressure monitoring sensors. Wouldn't one need a dedicated system to read those sensors?

AFAIK, Fords are all the same. A new Ford will pick up the old sensors. Within reason. I'm sure there is some year when things change(d) and they won't work, but it's certainly worth trying them.

So I'm guessing yours worked without any other modification. *To myself* "Brilliant, Tom"

Its kind of like a garage door remote , cordless phone or tv remote. As long as the frequency of transmission is the same (and the brand) , they should work . Most Ford tuned 315 MHZ sensors are the same . That is why you can buy generic $10 sensors or $75 OEM ones . They will all work , just how long is the question . The ones that were on the 2019 Edge and now on my Maverick worked without any programming .
