I thought the headlights were bad then i saw the controls under the touchscreen and the blue accents. Ill keep my low interest rate and 6 grand cheaper 22. I love my maverick. And push button start ok but why not put it where the key would go instead of way down low in the dash, one of the many reasons i didn't get the lariat besides fake leather i put katzkins in better quality and cheaper
The push button start really really concerns me. I don't know about you, but I can see very young kids even preschoolers pushing the button while the parent is unloading groceries. I can picture it. The key is in their pocket or worse fell out and slide under side of the seat. Its in such an obvious "ooooh whats that button" Place.

I agree it's a bad location but haven't heard any complaints from current Lariat owners.

Most cars the jet has to be in a certain general area and the brake needs to be depressed to start

Not a problem unless the little tykes are sitting in the drivers seat and can reach the brake pedal and rotary gearshift knob so sounds more like parental issue. 🙂

Just pressing the button does accessory mode.
For it to actually start, there has to be enough weight on the driver’s seat and you have to be pressing the brake pedal.
Then also both of those to spin the gear selector.
